Day 1825: Chapter 3

Day 1

Saying that the guest room is massive would be an understatement. The room is as big as a middle class house. The room has so much natural light it looks like you're outside except for the fact that you're above the clouds. In the center of the room is the bed that's bigger than an Alaskan king.

I walk towards a separate part of the room which I can only assume is the bathroom. Inside is a huge bathtub and shower. The toilet is normal size but super fancy and as glittery as everything else. I go back to the main room and go to the closet to see my options. Similar dresses to the one i'm wearing but shiner and white. I decided to keep the dress on and try to figure out as much information as I can.

I find a remote on the bedside table and press what I think is the on button. A noise startles me, I yelp, and I turn towards it. A screen appears from the ground, a woman appears with a forecast that says it's going to be sunny for the entire week. I change the channel and a man with a woman next to him.

"Good evening people of Sol, today we have reports of a new visitor meeting his excellency. According to some the visitor is not Solar or Lunar. Avira, who do you think this new person is and are they a threat?" The man says.

"Well Ziva, I don't think they are a threat or the reports wouldn't say a visator, and I think this person is from another planet or possibly a mid grounder but it's hard to say why they are here on our beautiful planet" The woman says. They must be talking about me. How did the news get around so fast?

"Those are interesting thoughts now back to you Dai" Ziva finishes and the screen turns to another man. The screen suddenly turns off. Did I press a button somehow? I press the on button but it does nothing.

The two large doors behind the screen open. I look up and there are 8 Solars. Is that what the news people called them? The 8 people consist of 2 guards, 2 maids, the doctor from earlier, and 3 people that I can't tell what they are. One of the maids is carrying a giant fruit platter and the other is carrying clothes.

"The emperor has asked for your presence for dinner" says one of the unidentified people. They walk in the room except for the 2 guards who stay positioned at the door. The maid carrying the food sets it down on a table and leaves.

"Oooh this is going to be so fun! I have never styled someone from another planet before isn't she so unique, Linus?" The other unidentified say in such a high pitched voice it's annoying. I study the unidentified people, they must be stylists. The woman that announced the invitation is wearing a sophisticated scholar-like outfit. The High pitched one is short and wearing a pink cupcake dress. But the last one, Linius, is the most unique. Beside being the only male, his skin is dark as night with no shine whatsoever. His eyes are blue and glowing. He is like none of the people i've ever seen.

"I'm not going to let you dress me up in some weird outfit" I say.

"Oh but you will, his excellency demands the best of outfits for all of his guests" The sophisticated woman says.

"But before that health is number one, I need your vitals, blood sample, and for you to drink this" the doctor chimes in holding a vial of neon blue liquid. She walks closer to me but I back away. The doctor looks toward the guards and one of them steps forwards. Deciding it's not worth it I sit on the bed. The guard steps back and the doctor walks forward.

After the doctor takes my vitals and blood with some weird technology. She hands me the blue liquid, I drink it, wipe the residue from my mouth and hand the vial back to her. She leaves and I'm now alone with the stylists.

"Ugh she's finally done" says the cupcake girl.

"Maid, can you please get her washed up while we set up our stuff" says the Sophisticated one. The maid puts the clothes down next to the platter.
"Please follow me," says the maid. I do as I'm told I really don't want to mess with the guards. She leads me to the bathroom. I step in and she quickly closes and locks the door.

"Please take off your clothes" she abruptly says.

"Huh?" I instantly say. No one has seen me naked in forever. I forgot what embarrassment felt like.

"Take off your clothes" she repeats while turning off the bath. I take off my clothes and turn towards the bath. It instantly filled.

"Step in," she says. I do so and the warm bath heats my body. I forgot how good hot baths feel. The notion put tears in my eyes, but I quickly blink away. After all these years I've learned many things and one of them is to never cry. There's no point when you're all alone and have to survive.

After the bath the maid drys me and puts me into a thin under dress. The 3 stylists walk in with all their stuff.

"Time to get you all ready!" the cupcake girl says.

"She should probably know our names" Linus says so quietly I can barely hear him. That's the first time I've heard him talk.

"I suppose, I'm Aelia and this is Lyra and Linus" Says the sophisticated one. I figure I should do the same.

"I'm Bella" I say.

"What a weird name," Lyra says. Linus nudges her in the side and she says ow. He rolls his eyes.

"I'll be doing your hair," says Aelia.

"I'm going to make you look like the most beautiful girl in the world with the power of makeup" Says Lyra. "Even the emperor will be flustered" I look at Linus to see if he's going to say what he's going to do but he doesn't open his mouth. But Aelia does.

"Linus is going to style your outfit with clothes he made"

"Oh cool" I respond. Lyra pushes me in the chair in front of the mirror. I stumble into the chair and she starts doing my makeup.
