I had been walking in the rain for almost an hour now my jacket was heavy on my body, weighed down with water and I felt myself start to shiver to look at my phone again I saw I was close to the office I was looking for, as I began to pick up my pace seeing the sign come into sight Nelson and sons butcher shop. My eyebrows furrowed in confusion. I looked at the address Father Paul had given me walking closer looking at the door I shrugged my shoulders pushing on the handle and walked into the smell of meat slapping me in the face. The shop was quieter than I expected I walked to the counter where a young teen was sitting playing on a DS. He glanced up before setting it down speaking with a bored tone.
"Welcome to Nelson and Sons Butcher Shop my name is Walter how may I help you " I chuckled at hearing the rehearsed line. Clearing my throat
"I'm looking for Franklin Nelson and Matthew Murdock I was told-" he cut me off saying with a tone that implied that he had said it one too many times
"Ya my cousin and his friend there not in this door, go down the ally their entrance is on the right wall" He picked up his DS again effectively ignoring me as I turned and walked out the door to walk down the creepy ally to a door on the right-side with a piece of paper with almost chicken scratch writing 'Nelson and Murdock Attorneys at Law' I felt my stomach drop a little seeing the sign 'how are these people going to help me keep Mia if this is where they're located.' swallowing my nerves I pushed open the door.

MATTS POV
I heard a soft voice in the shop asking about where Foggy and I were when Foggys nephew cut them off making me smile lightly. Walter, was Foggys younger cousin who adored him, but he wouldn't let him know that. Walter directed the young woman to our office. I heard her steps, she was light on her feet as she turned down the alley her heart picked up the pace, she didn't like walking down here alone, stopping she shifted her stance in front of the door she was stalling. I stood up from my seat listening intently she was nervous about this inhaling I smelt the undeniable smell of fear, but it was buried under notes of anxiety and the almost overwhelming scent of grief. Then the bell of the door rang alerting Foggy to our guest. I stood smiling I went into our lobby which was just a small room with three seats and a table, a folding table. I went to great her after Foggy when I heard her heart begin to race
"Hello welcome to Nels- Oh my you're soaking wet " Foggy went to the small cupboard where we kept a towel and a blanket for emergencies "Let me grab you something to dry off with" he rummaged through the course grabbing them "How long were you outside to get that wet" I could hear water dripping off her making her shiver, her teeth lightly chattering as she replied
"About an hour or so" she cleared her throat "You guys are the Lawyers right" she sniffed, her heart was thumping in her chest, she was nervous I stepped forward putting out my hand
"Yes I'm Matt And the mother hen over there is Foggy" she giggled lightly grabbing my hand. She has almost frozen a harsh contrast to my normal warm body temp, my finger grazed the hoodie that she wore, soaked all the way through. She cleared her throat to speak
"I'm Alex Angelo and I need your guy's help" I nodded hearing and feeling her demeanor shift as she admitted to needing our help. Foggy had made it over there speaking quickly
"Well, of course, we will help you but first here you need to dry off before you get hypothermia" he trusted the towel at her before turning to me "Matt grab your hoodie for her she's soaked to the point there going to be a puddle on the floor," I smirked at hearing her heart speed up as she tried to protest
"It's no problem miss Angelo I always bring an extra" I turned to my side of the 'office' reaching for my bag.
