Manik's Pov:-

"Yaar, Bhai Car drive kar rahe ho ya bicycle? See see even that autorickshaw overtook-ed us!!" I teased Arijit Bhai as he was literally driving so slow. C'mon man Early morning itna traffic nahi h, thoda toh fayda uthana chaiye naaa. Galti meri hi h, m aaya hi kyu inke saath and aaya toh aya inke car me kyu aaya?

"Shutup Mann, I'm driving at the speed at which I should. This is the prescribed speed if you know!!" He spoke and I rolled my eyes. Yeah! A hard core traffic ruler.

"Sometimes I think aapko traffic police hona chaiye tha" he smacked my shoulder making me chuckle that's when his phone rang and he asked me to pick up but me being me didn't! Hah... Awarding me with some curses he picked up the call but the annoyance on his face changed into shock and then fear hearing put the call, and suddenly he applied breaks making me more worried...

"What happen bhai?? Who's call was it??" I asked and he looked at me blankly making me hell worried. But as soon as he told me the reason I found myself blank too..

"Mumma..accident.." And suddenly he ignited the engine again and how did we covered 25 minutes distance, I don't know.. But soon I found ourselves in from of the reception with Arijit Bhai asking about Mumma. Getting the information we reached infront of her ward and saw a doctor coming out of that ward and we ran to him..

Baba ji please Mumma and driver uncle dono theek ho..

Arijit: Doctor, how's, How's Mumma?

Doctor looked at both the men and then at the ward and he got to know that the lady in is their mother.

Doctor:(Patting Arijit's shoulder) Relax there young man! Your mother is completely fine.

Both boys sighed in relief and hugged each other..

Manik: And doctor, driver uncle??

Doctor: He is fine too, just injured..

Manik: Can we, Can we see Mumma?

Doctor: Sure you can but after half an hour, right now she is unconscious due to sedatives.

Both nodded and doctor left giving them a small smile.. Just then a nurse came out and looked at both the men and blinked twice in daze. Arijit rolled his eyes while Manik just sighed.

Arijit'(curtly) What?

Due to which the nurse came out of her trance and cleared her throat before speaking..

Nurse: Medicines?

Manik: I'll get 'em! Prescription?

Nurse: No, the girl who bought them here, went to buy medicines, I was asking where is she?

Just then Nandini came and forwarded the medicine envelope to the nurse..

Nandini:(softly) Sorry, it took time..

Nurse:(taking the envelope) It's okay!

Listening her voice Arijit and Manik looked at her and Manik was surprised to saw her here..

Manik: Miss Deep Eyes?

That's when Nandini's gaze fell on them and she was surprised to saw Manik there.
