"Manik, I think you should talk with Abhi." Manik looked at Cabir with a confusing face and raised his brows in question.

It was early evening now and Fab Five were chilling in Cabir and Mukti's house. Manik was sitting on the stool near kitchen island when Cabir came to him after observing Abhi for some time now. Manik also looked at Abhi but didn't find him anywhere and sighed. He knows that there is something that is disturbing Abhi. He thought that he will soon come around, but it never happened. Cabir too knew that if Abhi hasn't shared anything with all of them then he will surely do it with Manik.

"I think you're right. It's been days now. Navya and Mukti are also affected seeing him. Where is he?"

"By the pool side." Manik nodded and moved towards the pool area with the box of cookies in his hand.

Reaching there he saw Abhimanyu sitting by the side of the pool with his legs dipped in the water. It was a pleasant day today with the sun hiding behind the clouds. Manik joined Abhi and sat beside him. Abhi felt his presence and gave a smile to Manik before looking ahead.

"Cookies?" Abhi looked at the jar of cookies Manik forwarded and chuckled before taking one.

"You still keeping them with you?"

"Obviously, can't trust Cabir with this treasure." Abhi smiled and Manik mimicked his actions. Again, a silence fell there before Manik looked at Abhi who was lost in his thinking again.

"What is it Abhi?"

"What?"

"What are you hiding Buddy? There is something that's disturbing you. We all have been observing you. Earlier I thought you'll come around on your own but you are looking more depressing day by day. What is it?"

Abhimanyu exhaled and looked down with no words coming out of his mouth. He wasn't sure what to tell to his friend. He didn't want to hide anything. But he couldn't gather the courage to speak it aloud. Maybe because it wasn't his story to tell or maybe it was too scary to tell.

"Abhi!!" Abhimanyu came out of his trance hearing Manik's voice who was looking at him with face full of worried.

"Manik, if I ask you something, will you tell me honestly?"

"Of course, Buddy, say it. I won't hide anything from you." Abhi took a deep breath and now Manik was getting more worried for his best friend.

"You love Nandini, isn't it? She is your The One, right?" To say Manik was shocked would be less. Was he so obvious with his feelings around Nandini, he thought. But then he looked at his friend who was staring at him with a look of uncertainty. What's the connection with His love for Nandini and his friend's cause of misery, he wondered. But for now, he chose to be honest, there is no lie that he loves her. He just wanted to not disclose her name because he wanted to be sure that she will love him too, at least that's what he hoped.
