[Scorpious' POV]
I woke up to the gentle breeze of the wind, lying lazily on my bed, I close my eyes again, hoping to go back to my beautiful dreams.
Then, my alarm buzzed noisily just as I was about to fall asleep. Without any other choice, I sat up and the sun shined on my back, the warmth slowly crawling back to me.
When I looked up, then only did I realize that it was the most important day of my life, the day where we get in the train to Hogwarts. It is not supposed to be an occasion that is worth to be overjoyed about, but this is different, everything is different now, when my Rose came to my life. My Rose, whose eyes sparkle with gleam whenever the corners of her mouth turn up, my Rose, whose smooth hair booble up and down as she walks with a lively rhythm down the hallways.
Technically, she is not "My Rose", no, not yet, just not yet, but someday, I shall call her that, forever. She is just, Rose, Rose Weasely, oh. Weasely.
Just the thought of it already made a dent in my good moods. I am a Malfoy, who is supposed to hate Weaselys, like my dad, but... I can't bear to hate my Rose...
"Scorpius?!" My mother's shriek summoned me back to the cruel and cold world. "Coming!" I call back. As quick as I can, I prepare myself, putting on a plain white T-shirt and a pair of black jeans. I grabbed my heavy trunk and dragged it down the creaking staircase.
Within minutes, we were on the car to the train station, not hoping to be late. It will be my third year at Hogwarts, and my Rose will be in her second year...
When we arrived at the Train Station, I was so meddled with my thoughts I could barely walk straight. Then, I saw it, like an angel that descended from the sky, like a glow in the middle darkness, like the only sweet strawberry in a bowl of sour ones, like the most perfect girl someone could have. My Rose.
I was just about to walk over when I saw Albus Potter intercept my way and get to my Rose first. When he saw me, he demanded, "You, Malfoy, stay away from Rose, all right? She is just a young innocent girl, go bully someone else."
"Albus, don't be so mean, I'm alright, And Scorpius isn't the mean guy you said." Rose objected. Hearing her say that, my legs feel like they can't hold my weight anymore.
Instinctively, I replied coldly, "Firstly, I am not trying to bully her, secondly, what thinks you can give me orders. I don't care if you are a Potter or the son of the man who killed Voldermort." Then, I walked away, just catching a glimpse of my Rose biting her lips. My heart feels like a stone when I turn around, I wonder why I like her so much sometimes.
I hauled my heavy trunk up to the train after one last hug and goodbye with my parents. When I was on the train, I found myself an empty compartment and sat down. I looked out the window, and waves of people were rushing on the train. I scanned the crowds, and then I saw it, her smile sparked up and her head turned, facing my direction. She caught my eyes, and embarrassingly, I looked away blushing. My Rose, so close but so far.
"Is there anyone else sitting here?" A mumbled voice asked. I turned and saw a grumpy and unwilling Albus questioning, behind him, James, Lily and Rose were waiting behind him. I replied with a quick nod, looking back out the window, my Rose is sitting with me. My heart was beating so fast.
I felt someone sit next to me, and I saw a flash of red hair, my Rose. I was in a trance and when the train was leaving, I did not even realise it.
