[Scorpius's POV]

After everyone settled down, Hermione made us a Christmas feast. The smell spreaded from the kitchen towards the couch, and Lily asked when dinner will be made. We were all cramped onto one couch, watching a movie. I sat next to Rose, with one arm on her waist.

Out of the corner of my eye, I could see Uncle Ron's dislikeness in his eyes.

We all licked the leftover food from the dishes, they were almost as clean as before. I insisted on helping Uncle Ron wash the dishes, but Hermione pulled me away, "Scorpius, I know you are trying to be helpful, but Ron doesn't want to look as if he needs help, so let him. Plus, I have to show the kids where they sleep, unlile Molly's house, we have limited rooms..."

"Sure, whatever you say ma'am." I replied with a cheeky smile.

"I understand why Rose likes you." Hermione chuckled. I blushed slightly, hoping Hermione doesn't notice. I don't think she does, because she turns around and join the kids on the couch while I trailed behind her.

I stood besides Rose and she whispered, "Already starting to make a good impression, eh?"

"James, Albus and Lily, you guys can sleep at your own rooms, Hugo and Rose, as usual. Um... Scorpius... Who wants to share a room with Scorpius?"

I saw Rose about to open her mouth and I was so excited, but Hermione noticed as well, and added, "Any boys?" That shut her up.

I can't help but to admit I was dissapointed. She radiated a strong energy, attracting me towards it. The harder I try to block it, the stronger it gets.

As expected, no one raised their hands, they all disliked me. Then Hermione said, " Very well, Scorpius, you'll be sharing a room with James."

Immediately, James roused and exclaimed, "No! Not me, I don't want to be stuck with a Malfoy on Christmas night!"

Without saying anything, Hermione shot him a glare, saying: You better shut up, or you'll be sorry for it.

James obeyed, with a look of defiance in his eyes. When Hermione turned around, James rolled his eyes, muttering something under his breath.

It was depressing, realising that I would be forced to sleep with someone who might murder me in the night, I really don't understand why he hates me so much, perhaps because I am a Malfoy? Well, that's even more pathetic...

When Hermione left, we all filed into our own rooms, Rose gave me an encouraging smile, as I trailed behind James, who's bedroom is in the far end of the long corridor. There were 5 rooms, each with a different coloured wall.

Once I stepped into James' room after him, I gasped. There is a deep blue coloured wall paper on each side of the room, and I noticed that there are also some stars and clouds painted on them. With a faint moon-like ray coming from the lamp of the ceiling, it looked as if we were floating on the cloud.

There's a single bed at the corner, a work table which was covered in bits of paper, and a closet on the opposite. It's a wonderland, or, heaven, in comparison to my humongous but dull bedroom in my house, which seriously lacks creativity.

"I love your bedroom..." I gasped.

James ignored me, but when he turned around, I caught the corners of his mouth turned up. He continued ignoring me while he sat on his working table, I had nothing to do, so I asked, "What are you doing?"

He looked at me, slightly startled, but said, "Oh, this. Um... I'm just making ideas for a more effective broomstick for Quidditch."

I heard from Rose and she said James is Quidditch captain, but I didn't know he devoted himself to Quidditch so much. "Are you planning to work in a broomstick factory when you grow up?"

"Maybe..." He replied plainly, but I could almost see the determination.

We continued talking about broomsticks for Quidditch, until 10 and decide to go to sleep before Lily from next door starts complaining, she likes getting her beauty sleep.

I wonder what Rose is doing now, most of all, I wonder how her room looks like...
