[Rose's POV]

James, Lily and Albus are chatting so happily in front of me, Scorpius is sitting next to me, I am not positive but I think I saw him blush and stare at me with dreamy eyes.

Anyways, I decided to break the wall of silence between us, so I tapped his shoulder and asked, "Hi, how are you? It has been a long time since we have seen each other." Scorpius' eyes were wide open and I saw him flinch and he replied, "I am fine." He looked back down and his hair looks so hot under the small beams of sunlight, the butter yellow shade of his hair even matches his pale but slightly pink face. Yes, I am sure he is blushing.

I realise I have been staring at him for quite a long time, so to prevent the awkwardness, I reached into my bag pretending I am looking for something.

When James' joyful laughter filled the cart, I shot a glance at Scorpius and he was staring at the window again. On the reflection of the window, I noticed Scorpius looking at me, then, following my instincts, I looked back at him and he shifted his glance to the lake immediately.

Suddenly, the train creaked a high pitched squeak, and I felt the train tilt heavily towards the right side, still moving relying to one track line. My body weight shifted and before I could stable myself, I slid next to Scorpius, putting my weight on him. Scorpius' eyes stared at mine, shocked, but I swear I also saw a pair of longing eyes staring back at me. I stood up and apologised.

I walked out of the cart to check out what was happening, Scorpius stood up, which frightened me a little bit as he did nothing on this trip so far.

"What happened?" I asked Gwynette, she was one of my friends in Gryffindor, we also share the same room.

"They say that the train tracks was uneven, so the train somehow when off it and tilted right, everyone is panicking." Suddenly, the first cart dropped down, followed by the second. If something does not happen, then the whole train will plumment down together, towards the lake. And that will put an end to our lives.

Then, Scorpius walked out of the cart and stopped when he was next to me, we stayed like that for a while. Then he whispered, "Rose, um... We have to jump, or else we really will die..." The cart in front of us just dropped downwards, and our cart wobbled.

"But..." I stammered, "We can't just jump..."
"Please, Rose, just listen to me." He pleaded. I looked at him in the eyes, and he turned away, avoiding mine.

"Follow me," Scorpius walked towards an empty cart, I hesitated, but followed him. He slide the windows open, and the strong wind rushed through the gaps into the cart. I gulped.

"Ahh!!" People were starting to scream and panic, just when our cart dropped as well.

"Now!" Scorpius hushed, with a stern look on his face. He crouched over the window and I adjusted myself and sat on it.

"Jump!" He shouted, I hesitated, then out of the unexpected, he took my hand and he jumped first, dragging me down. I knew better than to scream, I did not want everyone to know that we jumped. Don't ask me why...
