Beck's POV
My phone started going off. I gathered it was Tori. I wonder if she made it home alright.
Me: (answers phone)
Tori: (shakily) Beck?
Me: Tori? Are you okay?
Tori: N-no. They d-did it again.
Me: Okay, calm down. It's okay. I'm on my way. (hangs up)
My blood started to boil. How can her parents treat her like that? She's their child, not their stress reliever. I got into my car and drove to Tori's house.
Me: (pulls up at Tori's house) Hey Sweetie. (hugs her)
Tori: (crying)
Me: Shh, it's okay. (rubbing her back)
I was hugging her, and she was crying into my chest, I just wanted her to let out all her tears. We stayed in that position until she started to calm down. I asked her what was wrong when she seemed calm enough to talk.
Me: Tori... What happened
Tori: My Mom and Dad came home from work, I heard them both talking about how they had a bad day at work, so I was about to leave. I was getting up from the couch when my Mom came. (Tears fall) She asked what I was doing. I told her I was watching tv, then... (Pauses) she (more tears fall) she pushed me down and said that I should be cooking, and I had to do the dishes. Her and my Dad... They... They... They just started beating me. (Cries) Beck, I can't do it anymore, I just can't handle them anymore. I-I just can't (bursts into tears) it's too much.
Me: (hugs her) Tori...I don't like seeing you like this, sweetheart. You are so broken and it breaks my heart. I am going to do everything I can to help you. (kisses her forehead)
Tori: (wipes eyes) Thank you, Beck.
Me: (spreads arms) Come here.
Tori: (gets up and hugs him)
Me: I'm gonna be here for you. I'll always be your friend.
Tori: Can I tell you something?
Me: Anything.
Tori: When Jade and I first met you, I was shy. I wanted to ask you to be my friend but I thought that you wouldn't want to be friends with me because you're a movie star and I'm just a nobody.
Me: Hey. You're not a nobody. You're beautiful, amazing and sweet. (Wraps his arm around her shoulders) I wanted to be friends with you for all those reasons and more.
She is so sweet and I'm glad we are friends.
