She's wrong. The man didn't went home. The feeling of awkwardness filled her heart again. This are new feelings. Bagong-bago iyon sapagkat ngayon lang niya naramdaman.

"G-Good morning." She said before bowing her head. Holding her robe tight.

Nakaramdam siya ng hiya. But the man seems normal. Parang siya lang naman ang nakaramdam ng awkwardness sa pagitan nila.

"You always wake up this early?" The man sat on the stool bar near her.

She nodded her head. Hindi pa rin matingnan ito sa mata.

"Papasok ka ba?" Dugtong nito. She can feel his eyes intently looking at her. Nataranta siya. Ano na nga ba ulit ang gagawin niya sa kusina?

Oh, right. She want some french toast. Magt-toast siya ng bread.

Tumango ulit siya. Hindi nagsalita.

"I'll drive you to school." Noon na siya napatingin sa binata.

"I have my own car." Nang makapa niya ang isasagot ay muli siyang bumaling sa bread.

"I suggest, you shouldn't use your car. It's too dangerous." The man said as he stills in the stool.

Teka nga, wala pa namang lead kung sino ang may gawa non hindi ba? It could be thieves. At nang wala silang makuha sa sala ay hindi na nag-abala pang pumasok sa kusina o sa mga kwarto sa taas.

"You are not my personal bodyguard, Detective." She just wanted the man to leave. Ayaw niya sa mga nararamdaman niya.l sa lalake.

"Fucking detective. So, we are back to basics, huh?" Humigpit ang hawak ni Lexus sa tasang hawak.

He isn't looking at her. He is looking at the mug he's holding.

Basics. Una sa lahat, they should be professionals. But obviously, the man didn't want that.

"What basics are you talking about, Detective Villarasa? Aren't you a detective?" She asked sarcastically.

"Okay. I'll send you some details when we finally traced the lead, Ms. Guevarra." The man stood up and walked outside the kitchen area.

Malaking buntong-hininga ang pinakawalan niya. Narinig niya ang harurot ng sasakyan sa labas. Finally. The man leaved.

"It was fucking scary, Bree." Inayos ni Fita ang salamin sa mata bago humarap sa kanya. They were at the registrar to process the last requirements for their commencement.

Just two weeks more before their graduation. Magsisimula na silang mag-practice next week.

"What if, Tito Bernard knows? Kaya ka niya pinapaalis sa house niyo. And that's why your Aunt Lucia wanted you to leave the house, asap?" Tuloy-tuloy na sabi ni Fita.
