Fiona POV:
It's the middle of the night on May 19th when I am woken up by banging on my door. For fucks sake. I get out of my nice warm bed and open the door to my fuckwit of a father.

"Frank. What the fuck? Its 2:30 in the morning?" I say half asleep.

"Your mom just uh....*burp* just had the baby." He says obviously drunk. Wait what?!?! Mom had the baby?!?

"Oh my god! Why didn't you get me up? Where are they?" I semi-yell grabbing a jacket to put on.

"Oh they are downstairs." He says as if it's the most casual thing in the world before going to his room. Fucking pathetic.

I run downstairs, making a bit too much noise, to see mom sat on the couch holding something wrapped in blankets. I sit on the couch beside her to see a teeny baby.

"What is it?" I ask her.

"Girl. A beautiful baby girl." She says lovingly. This is the only time she ever showed us that she truelly loved us, when we were newborns. The kids all come downstairs obviously being woken up by my running downstairs.

"What's going on?" Eight year old Debbie says rubbing her eyes.

"Hey sweeties. Come meet your new sister. Rosie Jean Gallagher." Mom says not looking up once. Rosie Jean. That name is really cute.

"Aaw she's so cute Mommy." Debbie says sitting on her other side. The boys all standing round the back.

Before anyone can say anything else, Frank comes running down the stairs in his jacket and holding Moms.

"Come on Moni. Let's go out and celebrate the birth of another Gallagher. One that shares the same birthday as me." He says throwing her jacket at Monica. It looks like she is actually considering it before she shakes her head.

"Maybe tomorrow Frank. I'm really exhausted and want to bond with this little baby." She says. Wow. Thought she would of gone. Frank just leaves without another word though. Typical.

"Poor girl. Sharing a birthday with Frank is gonna suck." Lip says. Now that's true

For the next hour or so we all get a chance to hold her before I send them all to bed. It's great to have another baby sibling, especially a sister, but I'm scared. I'm scared that I'm gonna have to be the mom like with the others. But one can only hope that mom steps up with this one.
