Felix and Kota both peered over each other, exchanging confused looks. The atmosphere at the breakfast table was unusually filled with awkward tension and unnerving silence, which was totally different from the usual mornings they spent.

"Nee-san, who's going to take me to school today?" Kota asked, breaking them free from the deafening silence. Fuyumi, still wearing an unfazed and stoic expression, patted his brother's head. "I will." She whispered.

"I can take him," Rindou volunteered. "Me too, I could do it," Sanzu added, but the girl didn't even pay them a single glance.

"I will take Kota to school, so don't bother," she uttered. Both Rindou and Sanzu shuddered at the frigid tone of her voice. They could feel that she wasn't pleased in any way, shape, or form. Though they wanted to make up with her and make it up to her, the idea of apologizing never really came to mind. No, they just didn't have the guts to lower their pride and apologize.

Mikey could sense the negative energy surrounding the three, and so did the others. "Fuyumi, I know you have a deal to close today, but later at 10:30 is also Bonten's monthly general meeting. We'll be discussing and assessing everything so it's very important for me that you're present since you handle most of our data. Is there any way you can ditch and reschedule your deal?" He asked.

For the first time that morning, Fuyumi finally showed an emotion of some sort. "I don't think the investors will like it if I postpone and reschedule. A lot of their money is at stake, and I don't want to lose the deal." She reasoned out, her blue eyes bore into Mikey's dark ones, trying to convince him.

"This meeting is really important. Not just for the organization, but for me also. So I don't want you to miss it." Mikey insisted, but she wasn't going down without a fight. "I promise I'll be here for the meeting! My deal will end by 10 so I'll probably be back in HQ before the general meeting starts," she persuaded, clasping her hands together.

"I really do promise, Mikey. I swear on my grave." She muttered, lifting her right palm in the air. Mikey sighed; a signal of defeat, and a sign of her victory. "I won't be late, I promise!" She swore before finishing her mug of coffee.

"I'll drop Kota by his school then I'll head straight to the investors' place. Felix will come with me so don't worry," she assured, standing up and taking her dishes to the sink.

Sanzu, Rindou, and the rest of the executives watched as her silhouette slowly disappeared from their sight, with Felix and Kota following. As soon as they were left alone, Kakucho cleared his throat. "What did you two do?" He asked, making Rindou and Sanzu halt from taking a bite of their food.

"I didn't do anything! Don't just randomly blame people!" Rindou defended, his gaze turning to his brother. He felt cold sweat trickle down the side of his face as Ran's eyes bore into his. Ran was sort of everyone's big brother, so he naturally and that relaxed, warm, brotherly expression. But this time, he stared Rindou down with amethyst hues flooded with half-assed disappointment and oozing of coldness.

Sanzu felt like he was winning since everyone's attention was on Rindou, but Takeomi said otherwise. "Haruchiyo. What did you do to the girl?" He asked, making Sanzu spit out his sip of orange juice. "Why me? I'm innocent!" He defended, slamming his fists on the table. Wrong move.
