I woke up with a kitten mewing at my door to be let in. Sighing I get up and open the door. Because Tobi was standing on the door opening it caused the poor kitten to face plant into the floor. I smile and scoop the kitten up and hold him like a baby.

"Tobi today's the day we go get your new friend." An excited mew escapes the kitten causing my smile to brighten. I snuggle into the kittens fur before putting him down and going into the kitchen to make us breakfast. The rest of the morning was rather uneventful. Around noon I said goodbye to Tobi. Well it was more like me throwing the paper ball to distract him while I make a break for the door. Once outside I begin to walk to my friend's house. After only a few minutes of walking I saw her house in the distance. I picked up my pace, excited to meet the newest member of my family. I reached her front door and knocked. There was no answer. I knocked again.......Still no answer. I grew worried and tried the door. It was locked. I made my way around the back and opened the kitchen window that was always unlocked. I climbed in and looked around. The house was dark, other than that the house looked the same as usual. I closed the window behind me so that the kitten that supposed to be roaming around wouldn't escape. I heard a noise coming from upstairs. I grabbed the closest thing to me that could be used as a weapon, which happens to be a frying pan. I take off my shoes so that I wouldn't alert whom ever was in the house. I make my way up the small flight of stairs. More noises come from (F/N)'s room. I slowly open the door.

"So did you learn your lesson?" I ask (F/N). She nods fiercely while holding an ice pack on the large bump on her head.

"Good." I sit there for a few minutes before I remember why I was here in the first place.

"So (F/N) you said that you had a kitten for me?" She nods again before speaking.

"Yes, but..." I raise an eyebrow at her.

"Well he sorta got out yesterday night."

"........."I give her a blank expression before standing up and heading to the door.

"W-where are you going?"

"To look for him."With that I shut the door behind me. 'He's just a little kitten, he couldn't have gotten far.'

I have been looking for the kitten for hours now and have had no such luck in finding him. I decided to give up and just go home. I began to walk but stop when I hear a very small mew. I follow the sound and see a person holding a bag over edge of the only bridge in our town. The bag mews and the man yells at it to shut up before he tosses it over the side and into the rapid moving water below. I, being the sucker I am, run as fast as I can down stream trying to locate the bag. I spot it not too far off from where I was now. I jump into the freezing stream and wade my way over to it. I picked it up hearing a weak coughing sound coming from inside. I got back to the river bank and climbed up, sitting down to catch my breath. I set the bag on my lap and untied the strings on the top. I might have been dark but I could clearly see a small blond kitten looking up at me. He sneezes and begins to shiver. Giggling I pick him up and hold him close to me.

"You know that you are one lucky cat." I stand up and begin to walk home. I look down at the kitten who was trying to act tough despite being almost drowned like a rat. I chuckled and he sends me a look that says 'You think this is funny?!'

"You remind me of someone.....I think I'll call you Deidara." He gives me a look that is a mixture of confusion, surprise and disbelief all wrapped up into one. I giggled once more.

"Come on let's get you home. You've had a big day."
