The most cruel rule present in the subcontinent was Mathura Naresh kansa, who was as roaming in the Garden. Suddenly he heard a cry. It was a cry of a poor and innocent child. The child's mother was the maid of Kansa. The maid came running and try to handle the child. The poor Mother was comforting the child to stop crying. When the child still continued to cry, the cruel man got annoyed and angry. Kansa turned towards the mother and Son.

How?
Maya! Devi's maya... Maha Maya....
A devi or a goddess appeared in the sky. She was wearing a red dress. Her golden jewellery was hugging her dress and body. Her hair was left to flow and she even wore a mukut in her head. The woman appeared was extremely beautiful. Her eyes were black and large as lotus-petals, and her locks were blue and curly, her eyebrows were fair, and her bosom was deep. Her body gave out fragrance like that of a blue lotus, perceivable from a distance of full two miles. Her beauty was such that she had no equal on earth. Her beauty was unmatched. She looked so innocent yet fierceness, boldness, and compensation never left her soul. She was a lady, but had weapons in her arms. One of her arms was holding a weapon, the other arm was holding a 'Trisula' as a weapon, the lower arms was holding a lotus and last one was having a blessing mudra.
Her presence was giving a illusion vibes. This goddess, also referred to as Vaishnavi Mahamaya, assumes a number of manifestations like Durga, Ambika, Kshemada, and Bhadrakali, according to the Vishnu Purana.
Who is she?
And she was no other goddess except Devi yogmaya, the one who is excellent in forming illusion, just as her name suggests. ''Yoga maya'' is a term that means the "divine illusory power." As a compound word, yogamaya is the personification of this power as an avatar of the Hindu goddess Devi.
