you and wilhemina had been in NYC for a week now

since the day she found out about your videos , she took you every day for lunch and dinner , always making a point of paying and in that time she was getting closer and closer to you ,  using pet names at all times , asking how you were and always putting a hand on your thigh at every meeting you attended.

she made you throw away all the meds you had , you had brought some laxatives , diuretics , appetite suppressants and others that you had that made you lose weight.

you had spoken a few times with peter . there were rumors on twitter that he was cheating on you , but you didn't even care , you thought it would even be a good thing because then you would have a reason to break up with him

wilhemina was able to sue mr morrison for moral damages and sexual harassment , she also removed him and his company from any future connection with kineros robotics

she made sure you didn't have to worry about anything involving it , wilhemina just told you that they managed to process him but didn't go into too much detail , which you mentally thanked since it was just one more matter to worry about

you didn't know why she was caring so much about you , nor why she treated you so differently . you wondered if she was in love with you too , but discarded it on the spot she probably just felt sorry for you

it was sunday night around 3 am , you were already asleep but miss venable was still awake in her room tossing and turning in bed because she couldn't sleep

she had been doing this almost every day for the last week , staying up late just thinking about you and how you were scaring her - how much the love she felt for you scared her.

she knew you were dating , during the last week she heard you calling peter , the call always ended up with an argument , she had heard that you were in love with someone other than your boyfriend and spent the day wondering who it was and why you stayed with peter if you didn't love him and it was obvious how badly he treated you.

she started to get paranoid with all the closeness you guys were having , wilhemina wanted to know everything about you but was scared of what would happen with she really let you get closer

she learned with life to put herself first . her parents were always strict so all she had was herself and she protected herself for a long time from everything and everyone that could hurt her by building a wall around  her feelings but then she met you and it just didn't matter anymore

wilhemina would do anything for you - to protect you - you were now the priority even if she never admitted it.

after a lot of thinking , she was almost asleep when she heard a noise coming from your room

she got up , took her cane and went towards your room and knocked on the door

"Y/N is everything ok ? i heard a noise"

she stopped waiting for an answer

"hm can i come in?"

you didn't answer , what worried her , so she knocked on the door again
