James' pov
We end up getting lifts home by michelle while Emily's car gets fixed,i walk into my house,my mum looks angry "I told you to come straight home james!"my mum shouts when I notice pipers leg begin to bounce like crazy and i run over to her "hey hey it's okay look at me we are leaving"i say hugging her as i glare at my mum "your making your own daughter scared in her own house"i shout before grabbing piper a jacket and my keys "where are we going?"piper asks looking at me "Noah's that cool?"i ask softly "yeah"piper says "hey it's okay mum is probably just stressed it nothing to worry about!"i say as I get into the car, i call noah "hey bro what's up?"noah asks "hey umm can me and piper stay with you I had an argument with my mum and piper doesn't like shouting so?" I say "yeah of course but I only have one spare bed so james you'll have too sleep in my bed with me I'll go make piper a bed"noah says "your the best bro"I say ad I start the car "what's your favourite snacks pipes?"noah asks "umm Pringles"piper says "and favourite drink?"noah asks "umm dr.pepper"piper says "okay well I'll go get you that and put it in your room"noah says in a soft tone "thanks"piper says softly "it's nothing"noah says. I start driving as noah hangs up "noah is really nice"piper says "yeah he is isn't he"i say softly "umm Thanks for earlier it scared me"piper says with tears in her eyes "hey I'm your big bro it's nothing and you ever need anything come to me"i say at the red light before Noah's house,noah has always been so nice to everyone! Michelle once asked me if I was gay who would I date and I didn't even have to think it would 100% be noah. I pull up to Noah's and I see Richelle's car as well. We knock on the door and noah answers "hey pipes your room is all ready"noah says hugging her "thank you"piper says before walking up the stairs. "You okay?"noah asks "yeah"i say and he welcomes me in "richelle has her own room so you'll have to sleep with me"noah says "yeah that's fine but thanks for being so nice to pipes"i say looking around "it's nothing honest"noah says "don't treat her like a little kid though she hates that"i say sitting down on the sofa "no i would never she's the same age as me so I'll treat her that way other than if she is having a panic attack"noah says putting the tv on.i feel weird towards noah it's like those feelings towards Riley are now towards noah,there's no way I'm gay I mean is noah handsome sure but that doesn't mean I'm gay right? "Hey I know something that piper could do if I'm not home and she wants to relax"noah says "what's that?"i ask admiring his muscles "I have a dance studio downstairs she can always practice there"noah says "hey piper?"i say loudly piper opens her door "what's up?"piper asks "come here i want to show you something"noah says,richelle also walks downstairs with piper. We all walk downstairs,noah puts the pin in for the door and he pulls it open,my jaw drops "this is huge!" I say walking in,richelle does a few backhand springs, piper does a few pirouettes as Noah puts some music on,noah walks over and he starts doing pirouettes but the tightest pirouettes I've seen from him. Richelle looks at piper and richelle jumps on noah but he ignores her and continues "I'm going to bed I'm tired"piper says leaving. We all walk back upstairs,noah yawns "I'm going bed join me when you want"noah says, i watch as he walks up stairs, after about five minutes,i walk upstairs,i go into his room and i spot a picture of all of us.i see noah in just his boxers😍 "oh hey umm I'm just in my boxers that cool?"noah asks "yeah it's fine"i say secretly happy about it "you can get changed into whatever you want or you could sleep in your boxers"noah says half asleep. I take off my top and jeans and i climb into his bed.after a few minutes I hear Noah's light snores but I feel a warm muscular arm move across my stomach,i was praying that he would just stay there and never go away! I eventually fall asleep with his arm around me

The next morning -James' pov
I wake up to see noah standing at his mirror fixing his hair "good sleep?"noah asks "yeah because he had your arm around him"richelle scoffs walking past. Noah laughs "yeah sorry about that"noah says "it's all good bro"i say secretly sad that he apologised "how did you sleep?"i ask standing up "very good"noah says brushing his hair "why are you fixing your hair?"i ask "because I don't like it"noah whines "shut up" i say messing up his hair "oh fuck you"noah says "he wishes"piper says walking past that bitch "your sister is so funny"noah says "yeah she is"i say looking at him  "we have school so just borrow some of my clothes"noah says taking off his top revealing his six pack 🥵 okay so maybe I'm gay okay who am I kidding I'm gay and I have a crush on Noah. Great.I have a crush on a straight person just great! Noah starts going on his phone. I pick out a plain black top with grey shorts. I put the outfit on "looking good"noah says "thanks bro"i say screaming inside. We go to school,we walk in and i say goodbye to piper as she walks over to Amy. Me and noah walk to our lockers, i glacé at noah as he starts talking but he doesn't even look at me once.

Noah's pov
I see james glacé at me every few minutes as I talk but he goes silent "james what's wrong?"i ask "my dad is following piper around the school!"james says.i slam my locker "where!"I say softly even though I'm very angry james starts walking "JAMES WHERE IS HE?!"i shout at him "science block"james says "you go up I'll go around"i say sprinting,i grab richelle, still sprinting without even questioning me richelle starts sprinting "james and pipers dad is following piper scaring her"i say running up the stairs,i see piper and her dad trying to follow her, i run over,i tell piper to go to richelle as james isn't here yet.i punch her dad but I don't stop when he falls, i climb on top of him "you don't go here her again"i say punching him when the lockdown bell rings meaning there is a shooter in the school, i see james "james go I've got piper!"i shout before picking piper up and running to the disabled toilet. I lock it straight away "hey you okay?"i ask whispering,piper nods "are you okay?"piper asks "yeah yeah I'm fine can I have your phone"i ask she passes me her phone and i put it on silent and i do the same with mine. Piper moves to the corner,i move closer to her she jumps into my lap. I wrap my arms around her. I hear something I'm terrified.i hear a gun fire.i move piper into the corner and sit up so if they managed to get in the bathroom they can't shoot her without shooting me.i begin to panic when I hear multiple gunshots,I feel the tears escape my eyes,I hear footsteps i move myself so I'm protecting piper "n-noah I'm s-scared"piper whispers "m-me t-too p-pipes"i say ,i hear a gunshot very close to us "hey it's the police you can come out now"a guy says but i don't answer just incase.i need to protect piper even if it mean that I get shot.a police badge slides under the door but I stay protecting piper. "Piper noah!"I hear james shout "do you want me to unlock the door?"i say still crying I feel piper nod against my chest "stay behind me"i say before unlocking the door.I see a lot of bodies of my classmates on the floor, i move out of the way of piper and piper runs to james. I fall to the floor in pure shock. I watch as paramedics perform cpr on maya one of my classmates but it's like it's in slow motion. I see richelle running towards me, i stand up I feel her body hit my chest,i see the shooter getting arrested but that's when I realise I saw him running up the stairs when I was running to the bathroom,I begin to panic. "Hey guys your parents are here"mr evans says when i see a paramedic struggling to lift a little girl up with the medical supplies "hey need help?"i ask still crying "yeah thanks"the guy says. I pick the girl up and I start running with her she looks only about 11.I see all of her blood over me. She look at her chest.she stopped breathing! I lay her down. I grab my jacket and i put it under her head. I begin doing chest compressions. I hear a women scream as she runs towards me I presume this girl is her daughter,the police stop her,the girl begins to breath again and i pass her to a paramedic,i begin to sob as i watch as some of my classmates bodies get covered,my mum runs over hugging me as I continue to sob. My mum drives me home and I run up to my room locking the door behind me. I take off my top and the rest of my clothes. I get changed still crying, I look I'm my mirror my eyes are blood red. I walk out of my room "going out"i say bluntly before walking out. I don't even know where I'm going. I just keep walking until I spot james talking with piper on their porch. "Noah?"james asks.i ignore him. He runs so that he's infront of me. He stops me by holding my shoulders "come here"james says spotting my tear stained cheeks.he pulls me into his chest. "Shhh it's okay"james whispers.he runs his fingers through the short hair on the back of my head. I pull away from james and piper runs up to me and hugs me,I can tell she's been crying! I hug her "thank you"i hear her mumble. "Hey your staying mine tonight"james says but i shake my head "I'm not taking no for an answer I need to know that your okay"james says. We all go into his house after I call my mum. James takes me to his room. I sit on his bed and he sits next to me, he moves my head on to his shoulder without him wearing a shirt
