Bella and Dawn stood in the training arena in The World InBetween. Benjamin and Tensuya were on the high bleachers chatting away with topics to keep them entertained. Silvie and Silvia would've been here, but decided to stay back. Currently: The silver haired boy and the pyrokinetic sharpshooter were at home helping Aunt Rosalee and Uncle Elliot. Silvia claimed she wouldn't miss the cryokinesis prodigy, but Dawn knew it was most likely a lie. Silvie on the other hand, kept giving hugs and waving before the group left through the portal. And that brought them to this current moment in time. The moment in time with a preoccupied Bella and Dawn who was bored out of her mind. "How much longer will this TAKE Bella? It feels like you're taking another fifty HOURS." Dawn moaned, complaining as she shoved her phone into her backpack. The redheaded girl continued to profusely work away at the keypad. Bella kept doing the math and coordinates for another dimension, a moment later she softly sighed to acknowledge her little sister's impatience. "In a minute Dawn. I'm just pulling up the kind of Dimension you wanted. Doing this stuff's not easy y'know? Glad Aunt Aliza and dad are good with math and all this kinda stuff, otherwise I'd be completely lost!"

Dawn slumped to the floor, her jacket around her waist slumping with her, pouting. Bella then finished up the scramble that was putting a portal together. "ANNNNDDD! There- Away we go!" Dawn watched as the portal opened. She stood as it opened a few feet in front of them. Swishing in mystery and glistening with glory. So much wonder and curiosity enveloped the young girl. "Woah- now THAT'S awesome!" Dawn beamed, immediately rushing for the portal, however she was stopped by her big sister. Bella put an arm in front of Dawn to stop her from hopping in immediately, she had something to say to her before she left for her summer adventure. "There's a couple rules here Dawn. Take this, it's a Dimensional Traveling Device, the same one you've seen me and Aunt Aliza use. Don't lose or break this device. It's very important; otherwise I can't help ya get out unless you text me. So don't lose your phone either." Dawn nodded, taking the Dimensional Traveling Device into her hands and slipping it into her backpack's side pocket. "Now, Aliza said this to me many years ago." Bella started with. "If you see anyone that needs help, do what your gut tells ya and help. It may not be easy, it may be difficult. But I know you can do it. Who knows, you might even make a friend." Dawn grabbed her bag, hugging Bella soon after. "I'll be back soon big sis. I love you." Bella in turn reciprocated Dawn's gesture. "Love ya too kiddo." Bella then undid the hug and pushed Dawn along. "Now go on! Have fun snow queen." Bella shouted as everyone else there bid the snowflake-clipped girl farewell. This was her moment, her time to shine. This was her adventure! With a grin, Dawn trust falls into the portal with a swift swing of her boot. Falling from one world to the next.

The Hat In Time Dimension, location: Mafia Town

Dawn falls through the portal and keeps falling downward. Screaming, she makes an ice slide that barely catches her from the grim fall unscathed. Dawn teetered as she held her hands out ajar. Then, just out of the corner of her vision, she noticed a kid falling from the sky as... hourglass things(?) fall with her around the strange town with unnerving terror. "Ah- SHOOT. Hang on!" Dawn, following Bella's advice, uses parkour and her skills in creating ice to catch the kid. In which they both came tumbling down. Dawn moaned as they landed on a blanket of snow she quickly made that took most of the shock. That didn't mean that it didn't hurt however- the snowflake-clipped girl's body felt sore from the fall but she would've been black and blue if she had not created the snow in time. Dawn shook the snow off with ease, along with the girl in the top hat. The kid had a small purple dress-like shirt with a zipper. She also had a flashy yellow cape. She even had adorable boots and pants that completed the look. The girl's eye-catching detail on her appearance was her eyes. She had stunning blue eyes, like an ocean that wasn't frozen over; instead they glistened brightly with her complexion. The kid dusted her top hat off as Dawn made her snow melt. "I hope that helps ya kid."

The girl smiled. "Thank you!" Dawn grinned at the kid's thanks. "Your welcome." Dawn stood with one boot, then the other, before lending her hand to help the kid with the hat up to her feet. "I'm Dawn, nice to meetcha! and youuuu areee???" The kid stood with a smug but friendly grin and accepted Dawn's hand. "I'm Hat Kid, nice to meet you." The girls shook hands as they returned smiles. "I think we're gonna be good friends. And- I saw that uh- hourglass things fell from the sky, along with you. Would... those things happen to be yours?" Hat Kid nodded worriedly, indirectly answering the question before the explanation came. "Yeah... They're the fuel for my spaceship. And also something I can't let people get their hands on. They can do some crazy stuff with time." The top hatted child briefly explained. Dawn nodded, acknowledging her distress. Those things from the sky must be REALLY important if she's this upset about it. Dawn taps her lips with her finger for a moment. Thinking of a way to continue the conversation with a lighter or different topic entirely. "I see... I guess you're not from around here, huh?" Hat Kid nodded, unsure of what Dawn was trying to do when questioning her. Dawn began to dance with delight to Hat Kid's surprise. "Ha-ha! ME NEITHER! I'm actually from another dimension entirely! Isn't that cool?" Dawn beamed with a smile. "My big sis let me go on my own adventure to help people, just because I wanted to do something on my own- and I think I just found what I was supposed to do!"

Hat Kid tilted her head as she adjusted her top hat. "And what is that, Dawn?" Dawn smiled even bigger, the sparkles on her snowflake clip reflected the light as she confidently held herself high, standing tall and proud. "Help you! I'm going to help you recover your hourglass things. Once I help you with that I can help you get back home!" Dawn grinned to Hat Kid's delight. This is what the kid needed. Dawn was glad she was at the right place at the right time for this kid. "Come on, let's go kick some butt and get your hourglass things-" "Time Pieces." Hat Kid politely corrected. "Time Pieces— back where they belong! In your humble spaceship!" Dawn began to run to the way out. "Come on, let's go! There's no time to waste!" Hat kid followed as they both ran into another kid. They didn't know it then, but this was the start of a friendship. A friendship that would go through thick and thin. A friendship  that was unexpectedly built to last.
