August 15, 1945,

It was the second month of school. I made great friends and my grades were great. Everything was great except for romance. I communicated with girls well, but they either had a boyfriend or rejected me for any reasons. I was hiding it, but I was frustrated. I am a 17-year old Italian boy who needs an American girl to fulfill me. I am surrounded by couples for most parts of my days. They kissed at the corners and lockers. I wish I was born as an American, so I could get girls easier. I'm sure if I had been born American, I would have dated 10 girls throughout high school. About Uncle Leone, he married Margo 2 months ago, and she is pregnant! Of course, I am excited to meet my cousin soon.

"I was at the same age as Sigñore Costa when I migrated to America", Robert commented.

"That was a great coincidence and parallelism", Monica replied. "Did you think like him too?"

"No, the difference between me and Sigñore Costra was I really don't care about romance unless or until it happens"

"What do you think about us-American girls?", Monica asked.

"I think I know what was happening to your grandfather's mind: Foreign Beauty Effect"

"What is that?"

Robert explained, "Foreign Beauty Effect is basically that a foreigner-in this case, your grandfather became excited to see a crowd of people were are not in his race"

"How come you never suffered by it?"

"I really don't know the answer to that", Robert admitted. "When I saw American couples kissing for the first time, it was just like watching a romantic movie"

"I think you're an Aromantic", Monica guessed.

"No, romance is not my priority now"

"Here are the Double Roast Beef and Turkey and Ranch Sandwiches", the waitress approached them, serving their order.
