In A Room With Riker and Vanessa

No One's POV:

Vanessa: Rikey, I will sleep on the floor and you can sleep in your bed k?

Riker: But Nessyy (he whined)

Vanessa: Rikeyyy (she imitated)

Riker: What if I get cold?

Vanessa: Use a blanket (she said chuckling)

Riker: What if I need something to cuddle with?

Vanessa: Use a teddy bear

Riker: (pulls her close to him) Please

He thought that his Lynch charm worked on her. He looked into her eyes.

Vanessa: (pushes him onto the bed and lies on him) Your forgetting one thing Lynch

Riker: (stuttering nervously) umm..wh...what?

Vanessa: (bends down to whisper in his ear) The Lynch charm doesn't work on Maranos. However the Marano charm works on Lynches.

She slowly stood up and went to sleep on the floor.

Vanessa: Night Rikey.

Riker: Night Nessy. Love you.

Riker put his hand over his mouth when he realized what he said.

Then he heard quite snores fill the room.

*1.00AM*

Riker's POV:

I heard chattering in the room so I woke up and saw Ness on the floor shivering. I knew she was a heavy sleeper so I used this moment to my advantage. I lifted her bridal style into my bed next to me. I brought her close to my chest and put my arms around her to warm her up and for the pure fact that I was in love with her. As I started to drift into sleep I heard the four words that made me believe this was a dream.

Vanessa: I love you too.

I looked at her and her eyes were still closed. That means she was dreaming and talking. What if she was dreaming about me? Or was she dreaming about another guy?

I will let this bother me in the morning but not right now cos I am tired.

I pulled Ness in closer and kissed her forehead before I fell asleep.
