OMG! Relief just wiped over my whole body. I mean if she liked my best friend that would just be weird. A warm feel on my lap interupted my deep thought. I saw a beautiful girl. Oh wait...it was Vanessa. She isn't beautiful. She is GORGEOUS!

Everyone: Who is gorgeous?

Me: Oh nothing nevermind.

I looked down and saw something that made my heart skip a beat.

Me: Ness what's that thing around you neck?

Vanessa: Oh it's a necklace this boy gave to me.

*FLASHBACK*

VANESSA IS CRYING.

????: Hey. Why are you crying?

Vanessa: Because my mommy died and my daddy hits me and my sister

????: (passes her something)

Vanessa: What's this?

Vanessa: That's why I haven't hooked up with anyone yet. I am waiting for him. I remember what he said to me.

Everyone but Riker: What did he say?

Vanessa: Keep this.

Vanessa and Riker: It will protect you, help you and help me find you one day.

Everyone was gobsmacked.

Vanessa: How did you know that?

Laura: Duh. He gave you the necklace. It says 'R' on it. You told me that he was the love of your life because he saved you.

Vanessa blushed.

Me: She didn't tell you the whole story

*FLASHBACK*

Vanessa: And you keep this (hands necklace to him)

Riker: Why?

Vanessa: Cos then I can find you when I escape from my daddy.

Riker: Hey you have something on your top?

Vanessa: (looks down)
