Rydel: So.....(awkward voice)
Ratliff: I'll sleep on the floor and you can sleep in your bed.
Rydel: Oh okay (sad tone) how are you and Kelly?
Ratliff: I don't know. I think she is awesome but I have feelings for someone else.
Rydel: (quietly crying) Oh. Well, choose wisely. Goodnight Ell.
Ratliff: Sweet dreams princess
Ratliff heard snoring so he knew that she didn't hear that last part.
Rydel's POV:
I slowly drifted into sleep and dreamt. Well, I wanted it to be a dream but it wasn't. It was a nightmare.
No One's POV
*RYDEL'S NIGHTMARE*
Rydel: Hey Kelly
Kelly: Rydel, keep off Ellington. He is mine! Touch him and I will kill you.
Rydel: No! HE IS MY BEST FRIEND! HE TOLD ME HE HAS FEELINGS FOR ANOTHER GIRL SO HE WILL PROBABLY DUMP YOU SOON!
Kelly: That's it. Say goodbye to your life Rydel. (pulls out gun)
Rydel: Kelly no! Please don't pull the- (gunshot)
*END OF NIGHTMARE*
Rydel: (screams loudly)
Ratliff: RYDEL! What happened?
Rydel: Kelly
Ratliff: What about Kelly?
Rydel: She coming for me (monotone)
Ratliff: SHE IS MY GIRLFRIEND! HOW COULD YOU ACCUSE HER OF SOMETHING LIKE THIS?!
Rydel: She said I can't be friends with you anymore.(tears up)
Ratliff: Rydel sh sh sh don't cry (comforts her) it was just a dream (kisses her forehead) I would never leave you
Rydel: (blushes as he wipes her tears) Can you sleep with me? I mean...uhh. you don't...ummm..
Ratliff: (puts his finger on her mouth) shhh. It's alright. I will lay with you. (kisses her forehead)
Rydel: You need to stop doing that (blushes)
Ratliff: What, kissing your forehead?
Rydel nodded slowly.
Ratliff: But I have done that for years.
Rydel: It just reminds me of you and Kelly... I just don't wanna think about you two
Ratliff: I don't do that to Kelly. Just you.
Rydel: Why do you treat me like this? I am not your girlfriend and you aren't in love with me. You love Kelly and that mystery girl. Oh nevermind.
Rydel snuggles up to Ratliff's chest.
Rydel: Night bubba... I mean...ummmm... ugh. Goodnight Ell
Rydel's small snores filled the room.
Ratliff: Oh but Rydel, you are my mystery girl. I am in love with you. I might even love you more than Kelly. Might? I do love you more than Kelly. Night princess. (kisses her forehead)
A few moments later, Ratliff heard mumbling and it was coming from Rydel.
Rydel: (whilst sleeping) I wish you knew how much I loved you Ell. Kelly is mean to me. She has a secret that I found out...(carries on snoring)
Ratliff: She loves me? And what's this about Kelly being mean and keeping secrets from me? Who do I believe; my girlfriend or the one who I am truly in love with? I think about this in the morning.
