"This is boring, is this what you do all day with birdbrain?" A voice calls out from behind Dmitri. Who was squatting infront of a fallen log , checking and picking the mushrooms that grew there.

The forest was absolutely drumming with plant life, yet instead of off hunting, here was one of ollis' silly partners seemingly staring at a fallen tree collected to another tree.

Tilting his head and glancing back Dmitri smiles softly, giving a lazy 'come here' motion with his free hand. "No, and stop calling Esther birdbrain, you know he finds that annoying."

Taking and making his way to his partner, ollis joint him on the ground. Despite his irritated look his tail wagging excitedly at the closeness. " it's not like he's here to hear me, besides it's cute seeing him annoyed. What are you doing?"

Not bothering to dispute that, a passing image of a flustered and puffed up Esther passes. Dmitri turns his attention back to the trail of yellow mushroom climbing the log onto the tree next to it. "Gathering some mushrooms for a soup...mm stew? Thing I have in mind."

Shuffling closer Ollis leams over and lays his head in Dmitri's shoulder, reacting up to flick one of the mushroom heads with his claws. "The one with boar meat?...I like that one."

"Mhm, I felt you were going to visit today." With that dmitri plucks a few more placing them with the others in a pouch. "I even bought that wine you like so much."

Hearing this made a rumbled purr leave ollis, pleased his partner was thinking of him and was preparing his favorite meal. Ollis tilts his head to nip a thank you onto Dmitri's jaw and nuzzle his neck.

Balancing himself Dmitri chuckles letting the short demon do as he pleased, wiping his hands off before reaching up to scratch ollis'shaved head. Causing Ollis' tail to wag even faster.
