Current Location: Azkaban"Before I leave," Albus Dumbledore began, staring coolly at the figure in front of him, "Where will the child go? This is the; last act of freedom you'll get, as you're aware. Choose wisely."
"Professor who is that you're talking to," said Lilly with her natural curious expression.
"Is set in the future Ms. Potter I don't know who I'm talking to" said Dumbledore with his grandfatherly expression and annoying twinkly eyes but no one seemed to talk about it out loud.
Lilly blushing red slightly yelled out "Is Evans!" to control her blush though is not helping with the way the friends were teasing her about it.
A maniacal laugh sent shivers shooting up Dumbledore's spine and down his arms. He gripped his wand a little tighter. In all his years, he still hadn't met someone as unnerving as this convict.
"Wool's Orphanage," the figure responded, hidden in the shadows." I bet you know why, old bat!"
The hall was murmuring about who the child is and where is the place they were talking about, there were so many questions.
While the whole hall was trying to figure out who is the child, certain people from the past more so the leader tensed up and his eyes widen for a second and went back to his indifferent expression. He knew exactly where it was, he knew it very well because it was his "home" for a long time.
It was as if this putrid human had sent a wave of icy water that is crashing over him, he went immensely pale, and even then Dumbledore kept calm despite how much he wanted to deny the convict's wishes. How much he wanted to take the child to a normal muggle daily, to a safe, secure home with no dark memories lurking within it.
Images of a young boy with eyes of ice and a tongue of sliver clouded his vision; a teenager whose skin turned grey with each passing day; a chillingly handsome man with scarlet eyes and forked tongue; evil reincarnated in the form of a serpent.
Still, he persisted. And he left the convict with these words, his voice for once retreating from its soft tone, ringing out for all of the prisoners of Azkaban to hear. A promise to himself.
"She will not grow dark."
