The Gravity Towards Him

Chapter 12

What a start to my very lovely day. Nagising ako galing sa isang napakagandang panaginip na payapa lang ang buhay ko at tanging naka-upo lang ako buong araw. Sana hindi na lang ako nagising. Dapat natulog na lang ulit ako.

"Aira, hapon na anak! Bumangon ka na.. aalis na tayo after 30 minutes." Kahit sa panaginip rinig ko pa rin ang boses ng aking ina.

"Taeng 'to.." I stretched for a minute after I got out of my bed. Inayos ko na rin ang kama ko pagkatapos ng ilang segundo. As I went down, I didn't see Max anywhere so I think he went outside since the door to my room was wide open. Dumiretso ako sa closet ko at napatitig sa mga nakasabit kong damit. I looked for my towel before going straight to go inside my bathroom.

While I was inside the shower, malalim lang ang iniisip ko. I wasn't sure about what I was going to wear. Probably should wear a dress since it would be a formal dinner. But then again, I don't see any purpose of showing up today. Sabihin ko na lang ba masama ang pakiramdam ko kaya hindi ako pupunta?

After a long 3-minute debate with myself, I just decided to go with a ruffled black floral spaghetti strap skater dress that was above my knee. Pinatungan ko ito ng isang beige cardigan at hinayaang nakabukas. I was thinking of wearing some jewelry also so I went to my layered box full of accessories and started to pick a necklace. I first wore a beaded necklace before layering it with my favorite gold necklace with the inital letter A. I wasn't feeling like wearing a ring today kaya tinanggal ko ang suot kong ring.

I bent down and thought about what shoes I would wear. Nagdecide na lang ako na simpleng black converse shoes na lang na hanggang ankle ang sosuotin ko. 

Nang tuyo na ang buhok ko ay itinali ko lang ito gamit ang araw-araw kong brown hair claw clip. Kinuha ko ang black kong handbag at nilagay sa loob ang aking powerbank, wallet, at isang extrang hair tie. I checked myself in front of my mirror before heading out to the living room. Kakasarado ko pa lang ng pinto nang biglang may bumungo sa akin.

"Wow nag-ayos." My brother teased me. Tinaasan ko naman siya ng kilay. Hindi ko siya sinagot at dumiretso sa sofa para umupo. 

I pulled my phone out from my bag and scrolled through my messages, trying to find the guy I was talking to. When I saw that there was no new message, I sent him a gif of a girl shyly saying hello. Para naman kunyari shy type ako. He didn't reply immediately and we had to go so I didn't wait for his reply anymore.

The ride going to the Gavine's House was surprisingly noisy. But it was nothing new. Mom was clearly excited in seeing Tita Pearl again while Dad was also excited like her. Si Kuya naman ay tanong ng tanong tungkol kay Kuya Blake. I told him about the conversation that we had yesterday and all I got was just him denying everything.

"Anong baliw sa babae? Sira hindi.." He rolled his eyes, still denying and shaking his head repeatedly.

I leaned my elbow against the arm rest of the car door and smirked at him. "Oh really? Then why do you always ask me kung masama bang pag-usapan ang tungkol sa past mo na babaero phase ta's kung okay ba sa babae kung dating ganon ang isang gu-"

"Masama na bang magtanong?" He cutted me off, now clearly annoyed.
