Maya:- Property of KGB
𝐀 𝐏𝐈𝐂𝐓𝐔𝐑𝐄 𝐎𝐅 𝐏𝐄𝐑𝐅𝐄𝐂𝐓𝐈𝐎𝐍. Every turn and every move made them look like a picture of perfection. Synchronicity flowed with the music. The sunlight fell in the room through the three giant windows making them look like angels. Angels dancing to the tunes of the devil. They danced until they broke. Shattered on the floor like glass. But the ones who didn't break continued to dance on the broken glass. Because they were made of marble, they didn't break but bleed. Their blood stains the floor red. Stains them red.
Young girls sat on the floor looking at the dancing angels, wondering whether they would shatter or dance until a bullet was put in their heads. They watched as these angles danced, knowing they would have to too. They would have to prove whether they are marble or glass. There is no place for glass in the Red Room Academy. Glass is weak and there is no such thing as weakness in the Red Room. The Academy creates statues of marble, not glass. Statues that made kingdoms fall and nations bleed.
These Statues were carved so that they hypnotized anyone who saw them. Anyone but the person who carved them. They were not humans, they were not the little girls collected from all over the world. The academy sucked their soul. Broke the glass and carved the marble into perfection.
Out of twenty-four girls, only six survived. Each girl had the blood of the other three girls on their hands. They killed to survive. They survived to kill. These six girls would become the hands of Dreykov, they would kill for him and would be killed for him.
Madam B had her favorite in every batch, she tested her favorite more than others, pushed her favorite more than others, and punished her favorite more than others. And in this batch her favorite is Maya.
Maya is made of marble. Maya is perfection. Maya is an illusion.
Maya's small, frail-looking hands stretched in the air as she moved to the rhythm. She felt the music flow through her body, from her toes to her heart. She felt the music change and she twirled in her place. She went on her toes, came back down, and twirled in her place. She held her head high. Her posture is perfectly straight. Her feet glided across the floor just like her knife did on her target's neck. Pain. She felt pain running in her veins but she showed pride. Her steps showed pride. Because in the Redroom pride comes from pain. And pride is valuable more valuable than life.
The music stopped and so did her heartbeat. Dimitri's eyes swarmed through the row of girls as he paced in front of them. He was very dramatic. Madame would have told right away who was going to be free. But Dimitri didn't. He kept eyeing the girls, fueling suspense and fear. He liked to toy with fear and maybe that made him more dangerous. He broke his pace and stood in front of Maya. Gun raised to the level of her forehead, his eyes searched her's for the trace of fear. But he found none because Maya didn't fear death and maybe that's what made her dangerous. She stood perfectly still, like a person already dead. Face void of expression, eyes void of life.
Then Dimitri pulled the trigger and the girl beside her fell and her blood painted the marble floor red.
Maya has been in the Red Room since she was an infant. Her parents threw her, like garbage. But Madame said she wasn't garbage, but she would have to prove it. Prove that she wasn't garbage, she was marble. And so Maya did. She passed every test they put her through. She went through every torture and survived. She proved that she was marble, that she was valuable. She grew up with killers and then she became one herself. She still remembers the day when she first killed someone. It was a girl a couple of years older than herself, her opponent. The girl had the upper hand, she was older and could hear. Whereas Maya lacked both, age and hearing. The girl had broken her ribs and bruised her liver. Maya was on her knees when the girl punched her in the face. Blood started oozing from her gums and Maya was about to fall when something snapped inside. The will to survive took over. The will to kill took over. She gathered the blood in her mouth and spat it on her opponent's face, she had taken the girl off guard and she grabbed her legs and made her lose balance, the girl fell and Maya rose to her feet. She kicked the girl and broke her legs and finally, her knife had gilded across her opponent's throat like her feet gilded across the marble floor.
Maya saw girls beg. Beg for freedom. They cried and some even died, begging for freedom and liberty. But Maya never did. Because how you could ask for something you never knew. How could you ask for freedom when you never had it? How could you ask for liberty when you don't know what it is?

Dreykov paced his office while a middle-aged man sat calmly in one of the chairs. His eyes kept moving around the room as he had grown tired of watching the moving man. Dreykov was testing his patience. He cleared his throat to get the man's attention and the attempt was successful as Dreykov stopped pacing and looked at him for the first time since the offer had been made.
"Have you made up your mind, Dreykov? Or do you still need to be convinced?" the director leaned forward his blue eyes seeming dark with an underlying threat.
Dreykov had weighed the pros and cons, of giving up something from his collection. Something precious. Something that could give him power. Something that could slaughter or get slaughtered by the world for him. But this man sitting here, in his office, sipping coffee, could kill him or take away all that he possessed. Everything.
"Yes, you can take her," Dreykov sighed and handed the file to the man.
"Very well," The man chuckled and rose from his place.
"Hail Hydra," The man said.
"Hail Hydra," Dreykov replied.

Maya:- Property of Hydra
""All right, let's dive into the first chapter! I'm pretty happy with how it turned out, although I had hoped it would be a bit longer. However, the ending felt right to me. I'd love to hear your thoughts and feedback so I can improve it. Just so you know, this is a rewrite of the original draft, which was quite different, but the main plot is still the same. I welcome constructive criticism, but please keep it respectful and avoid using harsh language."
And again, please comment and vote if you like it."
A MEME THAT I FIND FUNNY:)
