Chapter 12

"Hey, wake up sweetheart !"

Hyunsuk caress softly on his 5 years old son's hair. He tug a smile, chuckles when he saw Hanbyul squinting his eyes try to wake up. "I am sleepy .."

"You have school to attend, dear. Wake up," Hyunsuk peck a kiss on Hanbyul's forehead. Hanbyul sit up and looking at Hyunsuk. He lean then peck a kiss on Hyunsuk's cheek.

"Good morning papa !" Hyunsuk smiling when Hanbyul snuggle to hug him. He rub on Hanbyul back and pat it softly. "Go shower okay ? Then eat your breakfast. Papa will drop you to school."

Hanbyul nod while his eyes still close. He then drag his small feet to bathroom, leaving Hyunsuk who is busy tidying the bed.

It's been 5 years since Hyunsuk move to this small town at the countryside, far away from Seoul. It's Siyeon's hometown. She brought Hyunsuk here and they both start a small catering business. They have been living a quite life together, including Hyunsuk's son, Park Hanbyul. Hanbyul will turn 5 years old soon, and currently attending kindergarten.

"Good morning everyone !"

Hanbyul who is munching on his breakfast turn his head fast to the door. His face light up when he saw Yedam appear. "Appa !" He scream and Yedam smiling. Yedam then took a sit next to Hanbyul, with Hyunsuk who instantly pouring a glass of coffee for Yedam.

"Let me drop you to school today," Yedam caress on Hanbyul hair and he is wiping strawberry jam which smug on the kid's lips.

"It's okay Yedam, I will do it." Hyunsuk who sit in front of Yedam talk. Yedam shift his head to Hyunsuk and smile. "It's okay hyung. His school is near to my workshop. Let me drop him."

Yedam looking at Hanbyul, tilt his head. "Do you want to ride on my motorbike ?" Hanbyul's eyes lit up and he nod excitedly. "Yes ! Yes !" Yedam chuckles at the enthusiastic of Hanbyul. "I guess we should move now ? Or we will be late."

Hyunsuk put on helmet on his son's head. He peck  a kiss on Hanbyul cheek and the kid giggles. "Have a good day, son. Papa love you !" Hanbyul nod. Hyunsuk then help Hanbyul to hop on Yedam's motorbike. "Drive safely, Yedam ah." Yedam smiling, then he caress on Hyunsuk's head. "Sure hyung. I will take care of Hanbyul. Don't worry." Yedam then flash a smile before he start the engine and drive away.

Hyunsuk watch how his son and Yedam disappear from his sight. He then sigh. Yedam is Siyeon's nephew. They met 5 years ago and he always helping Hyunsuk since then. Yedam admitted that he like Hyunsuk but Hyunsuk still can't accept his feelings, since he only thought of him as a younger brother.

Hyunsuk is so grateful that he met Yedam. Yedam been there for Hyunsuk, since the day one he step his feet on this town. He help Hyunsuk and Siyeon on their business, taking care of Hyunsuk. The moment he know Hyunsuk was pregnant, he instantly become Hyunsuk's unofficial husband. He is there when Hyunsuk get into monthly medical check up, buying foods that Hyunsuk want to eat, sending Hyunsuk to hospital when he is about to deliver. Hanbyul also attached to him and call him appa.

Yedam once confessed that he like Hyunsuk and Hyunsuk rejecting his feelings. He is thankful to Yedam but he can't push himself to love the younger. Yedam also understand and he is willing to wait, even though Hyunsuk still don't give assurance about it. Yedam believe, sooner or later, he hope Hyunsuk will accept his feelings and he promise to take care of Hyunsuk and Hanbyul.

"Why are you still standing there ?" Hyunsuk came back to his sense. He turn around and he saw Siyeon behind him. "Nothing, nuna."

"You thought about Hanbyul's dad again ?" Hyunsuk smile and shake his head. "No, It's Yedam."
