3RD PERSON POV

The quartet walks outside to Hagrid's hut for their Care of Magical Creatures class talking about what happened in Potions. "What Snape and Malfoy said we're horrible." Hermione says. "Well I'm going to have to get used to it now." Nova says. "You shouldn't have to." Harry tells Nova as he grabs her hand.

She squeezes his hand and walk all the way to Hagrid's hut with their hand intertwined. Hermione looks back at the and looks at their hands. Her eyes go wide and she smirks broadly. "Harry and Nova sitting in a tree, K-I-S-S-I-N-G. First come comes love, then comes marriage, then comes the baby in the baby carriage." She sings teasingly. "What is this? First grade? Grow up Mione." Nova says rolling her eyes.

"You two would be a very cute couple." Ron suggests. "No we wouldn't." Harry says. "Exactly." Says Nova. "Y'all just wait, next year you two will be all over each other." Hermione says. Nova Ms Harry look at each other, when they make eye contact they both turn their heads quickly blushing.

NOVA'S POV

"Okay everybody open yer' books." Hagrid leads us to a clearing on the edge of the forbidden forest for our lesson. "How exactly do we do that?" Draco spats. "Blimey! Didn't anyone tell yer'? Jus' stroke the spine o' course!" Hagrid says. "I'll be right back." He tells us all.

"I think their funny." Hermione comments. "Oh yeah, terribly funny, really witty. God this place has gone to the dogs, wait till my father hears that Dumbledore's got this oaf teaching classes." Malfoy sneers. "Shut up, Malfoy." Harry says while walking up to Draco. "Ooh ooh ooh oooh." Draco walks up to Harry, looking him up and down. He looks up with a terrified face. "D-D-DEMENTOR! DEMENTOR!" He yells. All the Gryffindors turn around to be faced with nothing. We all turn back around and Draco and his goons are acting like dementors with their cloaks over their head.

"Do you need me to punch you again, Malfoy?" I say walking up to him with my fists clenched. I feel someone grab my wrist and when I turn around I see Harry pulling me back. "Don't you'll only make it worse."

Harry and I walk back to Hermione and Ron to wait for Hagrid. I see him through the trees pulling a leash. I finally see what he's pulling along and I see a hippogriff. I read about them in a book during my free time. "Da-Da-Da-Daaa! Meet Buckbeak!" Hagrid says enthusiastically. "Hagrid, What exactly is that?" Ron asks. "That Ron is a hippogriff. The first thing yer' want to know about them is that they're very easily offended, you do not want to insult a hippogriff." He informs us. "So, who wants to pet him? Harry, Nova good!" I turn around to see everyone has backed up leaving me and Harry up at the front. "Really guys?" I ask. "Come on now, walk up to him slowly and then bow. Wait for him to bow back then you can walk up and pet him."

"You go first, Harry." I say. "Fine." Harry slowly walks up to Buckbeak and bows low. Buckbeak just stands there. "Back off Harry! Back off!" Hagrid yells. Harry slowly backs away still bowing. It takes Buckbeak a second but he eventually bows back. Harry slowly walks up to him with his arm stretched out. He stops and Buckbeak walks up to him so Harry can pet him. "Great job, Harry! Nova, yer' turn!" Hagrid says.

I slowly walk up to Buckbeak to bow but before I can Buckbeak bows. "Wow, I guess he likes you Nova!" Hagrid says. I walk slowly to him while holding out my arm, Buckbeak trots over to me and I pet his beak softly.

"Well, I think he'll let yer' ride 'im now." Hagrid picks up Harry and places big right behind Buckbeak's wing joint. "Hey- hey-H-Hagrid!" Harry complains. Hagrid picks me up and places me right behind Harry. I wrap my arms around his waist so I don't fall off. Hagrid smacks Buckbeak so he flys off into the sky. My trip in Harry tightens and he turns his head around. "You scared Nov?" He says sarcastically. "Well no shit Harold. I'm flying on a hippogriff." I say.
