NOVA'S POV

I woke up on the morning of July 31st with so many things planned. Harry and I have been together for a month now and everything has been great.

We have gone on many dates since we got together but since it's Harry's birthday I wanted to make it a special date, something we haven't done yet.

I got up out of bed and went to closet to grab a bikini, shorts, and an oversized shirt.

After I finished getting dressed I went to the bathroom to brush my hair and my teeth, then I put on mascara and that's it.

I walked to Harry's room and opened his door to find him sleeping peacefully. I walked over to him trying to be as silent as possible and kissed his lips softly.

He opened his eyes and sat up tiredly. I gave him his glasses from the table by his bed.

"Happy Birthday, love." He took his blankets off and the first thing I noticed was that he was shirtless.

Oh wow. That's hot. Stop! Not the time!

"You done staring now?" Harry chuckled. "Sorry. Just didn't expect you to be shirtless."

"It got hot last night." He got up and went to his closet to grab a shirt and a hoodie.

I walked up to him and kissed him, "Happy Birthday."

"Best present I could ever receive."

"That's cheesy." I laugh.

"But true." He smiles at me and leans his head down to kiss me again.

We walked downstairs hand in hand and went to the kitchen to get some breakfast.

"Happy Birthday Mini Prongs!" My dad exclaimed and ran up to him to hug him. "Happy Birthday Harry." My father walked calmly towards Harry and gave him a pat on the back.

"Harry, I have some plans for today so after breakfast go put on some swim trunks and meet me back down here."

We quickly finished breakfast and Harry went upstairs to change. I sat on the couch in the living room and looked at the spot where Phoenix used to lay every day.

Phoenix unfortunately passed away 4 weeks ago, she was getting old so we knew it would happen at some point but it was still heartbreaking.

I keep asking my dads to get a new dog because I miss not having one running around all the time but they haven't said anything yet.

Harry came down the stairs in his swim trunks and a shirt on.

"Let's go!" I walked to the door and we started walking towards our destination. "Where are we going?" Harry asked curiously.

"You can't know yet. But you will find out soon."

Eventually we got to the beach and I saw the picnic that I had my father summon for me this morning.

"This is the surprise! I know it's not much but I thought since we haven't been to the beach yet, it would be fun. I also thought a picnic would be fun."

"It's amazing Nova, thank you. I've never celebrated my birthday with somebody before so I'm glad I'm celebrating with you, my favorite person in the world." He smiles at me and kisses me passionately.

"I'm sure I'm not you favorite person." I say.

"I'm pretty sure you are. You have made me so happy and you have done so much for me. Thank you."
