Apollo's POV:

In the beginning, before the six singularities and the dawn of creation, came the Celestials. Arishem, the Prime Celestial, created the first sun and brought light into the universe. Life began and thrived. All was in balance. All until an unnatural species of predator emerged from deep space to feed on intelligent life. They were known as the Deviants. The universe was plunged into chaos. To restore the natural order, Arishem sent us, the Eternals to eliminate the Deviants. We're immortal heroes from the planet Olympia led by the Prime Eternal, Ajak, with an unyielding faith in Arishem's mission.

That was until we came to Earth. We arrived 7000 years ago to protect humans from the Deviants. We were instructed to only protect humans from the Deviants and not interfere with their conflicts. This was so that they could still develop in the way they were meant to, both good and bad. Their good side made most of us become rather attached to the humans and learn their ways. However, their bad side is dark and can be despicable. This has caused a few of us to lose faith in them in recent years and it hurts us to see them act so barbaric sometimes.

There's eleven of us Eternals. We're made up of five thinkers and five fighters and then there's me, Apollo. The god of healing, archery, music, and light. Where most of us Eternals had one power or sometimes two, I have multiple. Being the god of archery means I'm highly proficient with a bow and arrow and I'm known for never missing a shot. This title is due to my weapon of choice being a bow however, I can manifest other weapons if I choose. I'm a fierce warrior and am the only other Eternal who can keep up with Thena in close combat. I use music to influence the emotions of others to bring peace and calm, but also into telling me the truth and secrets. I have advanced healing powers along with the ability to create illness and disease. I can also manipulate light to do what I want. I've created some of the most beautiful wonders on Earth like the Aurora Borealis and even made the stars in the sky bright enough to see at night.

Tenochtitlan 1521 AD:

After an intense battle to end most of the last Deviants on Earth, Makkari, Thena and I regrouped walking through Tenochtitlan, which happened to be under attack. This time was different though. Instead of the invaders being another Aztec tribe they had suits of metal armour and swords. We walk through the burning city blocking out the screams for help and fear as the natives we're being brutally massacred. Makkari sped off away from us as we carried on walking our direct, heart-wrenching route to Ajak. As we get to the middle of the city, an invader spots the two of us and comes charging at us on a horse with his sword out. I swiftly manifest my bow and fire a singular arrow at the attacker, piercing his armour and finding its home in his stomach. Causing him to fall off his steed and writhe in pain as he slowly started to bleed out on the floor. I get rid of my bow and we carry on with our walk back to the others As we near the attacker Thena manifests a sword to put him out of his misery.

"Wait, the arrow was poisoned. He doesn't deserve the pleasure of a quick death. He's a coward, a true warrior doesn't kill defenceless women and children." I say before turning to the invader.

"La flecha era venenosa. Morirás despacito porque eres un cobarde. Esto es lo que pasa cuando matas mujeres y niños." I state to him whilst looking at him directly in the eye with a sadistic grin on my face. I drop my smile turn back to face Thena and hold my arm out back towards where we were headed before this encounter happened. She acknowledges the gesture with a gentle smile and understanding nod as we walk off to leave this event behind us for good, leaving the coward behind us to die the slow and painful death he deserves. We continue our walk in silence as we finally make our way out of the burning city, slipping into the cover of the surrounding forestation, continuing our journey to the others.  At this point, we can both see Ajak and the thinkers waiting for us. Makkari speeds next to us and starts to walk the remaining distance with us. We come to a stop in front of Ajak who is wearing a concerned face.
