I saw multiple questions in the comments asking if Xander actually raped Hazel?
Yes he did, and as a result Hazel got pregnant. When she confronted Xander he offered her money to get an abortion but she refused, so Xander stabbed her, killing the baby that very instant. Since then Hazel vowed to avenge her daughter, Amira.
And she shoot him in the end of the chapter.
Those who are worrying about what happens to Xander, I'll tell you he's alive but rest will be explained in the second book.
I know I left my readers shocked and I am sorry but if you connect the dots from the previous chapter where she was drugged, she mentioned Amira, and how she was going to take revenge on him.
Anyways rest will be in the second book. And I'll publish the cover and maybe the first chapter in a day or two but then I'll be putting it on hold due to my finals.. 😭😭😭.
