Mo Dao Zu Shi. It is a well known novel amongst the fans of the authors work, whether it is their favourite or not definitely varies between person to person. To you? This novel had been recommended to you by countless of friends, even your devices have betrayed you by displaying videos of the donghua or live-action in your YouTube feed.

Was it truely as good as they say?

On a personal scale of yours, you much preferred 'Tian Guan Ci Fu', something about Hua Cheng and Mu Qing made you feel like you were strung up by thin red strings in only your undergarments. It was a naughty fantasy only a simp could drool over and fanfic writers can scribble down in order to help that missing urge and make it closer to reality, but of course it wasn't. Nor did it truely help, it only made the fans more hungry for those heart pounding mental imagery.
And that was drastically upsetting.

If you had an option to fuck Mu Qing or Hua Cheng, would you do it?

Yes.

Yes, you would. And so would anyone else who adored this novel.

But now back to the task at hand, to the novel you dreaded to read for the longest time. Your eyes watched anxiously as the screen loaded up the forbidden website you decided to use to read on. It was a website you had never heard of, nor have you used it to read any of the other novels by this author.

'Welcome to ImmersiveReads!'. It was the first words that loaded in for you to read, it presented itself in large bold font, but in a terrible purple colour. It looked as if a child had a spree with the colour palette, with oranges, purples, greens and pinks colouring the page. You suppose it was fine as long as the novel wasn't in ridiculous colours otherwise it would definitely be a hassle.

You patiently waited for the novel to load up on the screen before something unexpected happens. The screen began flashing.

All sorts of colours and images flashed repeatedly. A few items, symbols and a face burned into the back of your mind, you began to feel quite dizzy and nauseous as the screen continues to flash.
Your vision started to make everything look like an unused channel on an old television, the white static but it was growing darker and darker.

Until suddenly everything switched off.
