The scenery was utterly beautiful, (Y/N) was absolutely mesmerized and taken away. He paused for a moment to soak in the atmosphere and beauty, the others continued on without him unaware.
The teen couldn't be bothered to catch up as his eyes scanned the peaceful scenery, he stood for a moment with his eyes closed and a content smile on his face.

'I want to live in a place like this,' he thought if only he could wake up to a place like this every day...

"I wonder if I asked nicely they would allow me to move into their Sect," He chuckled jokingly to himself, "I could survive in the wilderness, so I wouldn't be that much of a burden."

He heard very faint voices from up ahead, recognising it as Wuxian's voice he panicked a little not realising how fast they walked.

'Oh no!' (Y/N) rushed to catch up, he felt disappointed that he was missing all the magical scenery but worried for the siblings he befriended. He turned the corner and accidentally ran into one of the Yunmeng servants.

"My apologies!" He let out, he quickly made his way through the followers to the front where Wuxian was talking with one of the guards. He just caught the end of the Wuxian's words, before he spoke up.

"I'm sorry, I was adoring the scenery and lost track of them." He dug into his robe pulled out the two invitations, and showed them to the guard.

"Oh!" Wuxian said in amazement, like the boy had just watched a magic trick, "(Y/N)! You had them all along?"

The mentioned teen turned to the three, "You two should be more careful where you place your things, especially when they are this important! You are lucky I spotted them when I did, we would be sleeping outside!" He scolded, though he completely skipped out on Yanli.

"Huh? Why only us?" Wuxian pouted, crossing his arms like a stubborn child.

"Yanli is responsible," he responded. Yanli smiled at the two boys who were bickering, Jiang Cheng remained silent with a happier look.

"You may head in," the guard confirmed, handing back the invitations to the soft-haired teen. He bowed his head as a thank you, allowing the Yunmeng clan to continue up the steps as he soon followed behind.

"What's so good about the scenery here?" Wuxian asked, when (Y/N) started to walk alongside them again.

"What is there not to like?" He questioned back, "The air is fresh and the atmosphere is calm and peaceful, it is beautiful!"

Wuxian huffed, "Wait until you see the Lotus Pier, you will know true beauty then."

(Y/N) smiled, "Well, everyone has different preferences. How are you so sure I will like it?"
