Chapter 1 ~ Ice cream

I wake up Blinded by the sun peeking through from my semi-open curtains. Grabbing my phone to check for messages, I see what day it is, The 20th. Today is the day you and your friends decided to get ice cream because of the weather. You unlock your phone and message the group chat consisting of your two closest friends Xingqiu and Chongyun.

What? No, nothing is wrong I just wanted to know when we're gonna go ice cream

After putting your phone on your bed you go get dressed, get your shoes on then go to the door to await your friends. You see someone with dark blue hair and brownish-yellow eyes walking towards you. You instantly recognized them it was your best friend the one and only ✨Xingqiu✨. "XINGQIUUUUU!" you yell joyously as you run up to him for a hug, Xingqiu hugs you back. As he hugs you, you enjoy the scent of old books. This was a scent that you had assigned to him the first time you guys met when you both were five. "Alright now we just have to wait for Chongyun!" you said cheerfully as you and Xingqiu realized from your hug. as you do so you see a boy with icy blue hair and light blue eyes approaching you and Xingqiu. "Hey Chongyun!" you say waving with a large smile on your face. "Now that everyone's here let's gooo!" you say as you start walking to the ice cream place with your friends. When you guys arrive you all sit under the big tree near the Ice cream shop, as the boys sit down. "Alright, you guys stay here im gonna go get the ice cream Im assuming everyone wants the usual." Xingqiu and Chongyun nod as they start relaxing under the tree. Once you know what they want you walk off to the ice cream shop

Xingqius Pov

"Hey, Chongyun, can we talk," I say looking up from my book. Chongyun looks up from his phone "yeah, what's the matter?" Chongyun replies with a semi concerned tone in his voice. I look up from my book and quietly say "I have a crush on (Y/N). I have for a while," Chongyuns face instantly turns to shock "ok cool I think but why did you need to talk about this with me" He questions "I had to share it with someone so I can talk to them about it and you seemed like the person I could most trust." I answer but as soon as I do I see a look of panic come across Chongyuns face "(Y/N) is coming back" Chongyun states. I quickly panic and then go back to my book to make it seem like I wasn't doing anything then (Y/N) arrives and gives me some strawberry ice cream (quick a/n I imagine Xingqiu liking strawberry ice cream if y'all think something different you can change the words in your head or not up to you) and then hands Chongyun a blue icy pole once they gave us ours they started to eat their (insert favourite ice cream/icy pole here) around as they sit down they say "wanna come to my house after guys? " (Y/N) asks. "Sure why not," I respond cheerfully. "I can't sorry, I gotta go see my aunt" Chongyun replied disappointedly

"Aww that's ok Chongyun It'll just be me and Xingqiu then," says (Y/N) with a slightly disappointed tone but with a warm smile on their face. As I finish off my Ice cream, some of it drips onto my shirt (Y/N) lets out a small laugh and says "if you want you can borrow one of my tops when we get to my house," "(Y/N) they would all be too small on me" I laugh teasing (Y/N) for how short they are "I mean you could wear my older sisters dress." (Y/N) states with an amused face after (Y/N) says that she and Chongyun start laughing "who knows maybe I will," I say back jokingly as we all laugh "why does it have to be so hot today like seriously its 32°(89°farrenhiet)" (Y/N) grumbles "it's gonna be hotter tomorrow" I state as a frustrated look falls open (Y/N)s face "well I should probably get going now." states Chongyun as he stands up and waves us goodbye we both wave back at him. "Wanna head to my place now?" (Y/N) inquires I nod my head and we start walking.

A/N first proper chapter done yayayay, hope yall enjoyed this chapter
