Why hasnt Lilianna been practicing with us? Shes been coming to the practices, but hasnt actually practiced. Shes also been getting kinda big. She cant be pregnant can she? She would never purposely get pregnant. I havent known her a while but ive known her long enough to know she wouldnt do that.
Monday
Im in the courtyard and i see Lilianna with Jake. I walk up to her and its a little awkward but i just ignore the feeling and say "Hey Lilianna, can i talk to you for a second?" She looks at Jake and says "Yea, lets go in yhe bathroom." Thats kinda where everybody goes when they need to talk for some reason. We go in the bathroom and nobody is in there thank God. I make sure to look in the stalls just in case. "So...i dont want to sound rude, but...are you pregnant?" I look at the floor as im in shame. She looks at me, takes a deep breath and says "Yes im pregnant but please dont tell anybody because i don't want people knowing." I dont know whether or not to be happy or completely lost. "Well, im happy for you dont get me wrong, but why would you get pregnant as a senior? I thought you didnt want to do that and you wanted to wait."
"I did but it wasnt planned. On the D.C. trip it just accidentally happened and i found out about a week ago. Just whatever you do dont tell anybody please."
"Umm, okay." I say with kind of a questioning/ shocked look. We wqlk out and Lilianna walks back over to where Jake is and I walk iver to where Brooklyn and Annabeth are. I see Annabeth give me a death glare. Im so tired of this i did nothing to her. "Annabeth i dont know what the hell your problem is with me but you need to loose it." I yell. A lot of people are now looking at us. "Excuse you?" She says with a 'what' look.
"You heard me bitch!"
"You know what you problem is,"
"I dont care what my problem is." I say interrupting her. "Keep it to yourself." And with that i walk away. I started walking toward the doors when the bell rang. 'Wow kinda good timing' i say to myself in my head. By 7th period Lilianna takes me and Brooklyn to the field. And of course she isnt practicing. We get out and she tells coach Melvin that shes going to McDonalds. When she is walking away, everybody is looking her way. What are they looking at her for. By the time she leaves, everybody is hovering over coach asking things like 'why isnt she practicing?' I just look at them like really? I walk over to the bleachers outside the fields fence and they see that im the only one not asking questions so they all start running towards me. It takes them literally about 5 seconds to get to me. I put my hands up in surrender. "What did i do now." I say as i roll my eyes. "You know whats been up with Lilianna." Says someone. Is it bad that i didnt know who it was? "No i don't. Im just not nosy and dont get in people business."
I was dying inside from not telling at least Brooklyn whats been going on. Im gonna talk to Lilianna about this. She gets back and everybody just pretends to start walking away and pretending not to care why she hasnt been practicing. She sits on the top row of bleechers where Brooklyn and I are whole everybody eles is on the bottom rows of the bleachers. She is starting to show. Shes gonna have to tell people sooner or later but im going to be a good friend and not tell anybody like she asked me to. She brought back more than her usual. Her usual is a double cheeseburger with a medium fri and a large sweet tea or a large caramel frappé. This time she brought back 2 double chicken sandwiches with 2 small fries and a large pepsi. My gosh is she trying to make it obvious. I just look at her like 'wow'. "What." she says after taking a huge bite of chicken and a gulp of pepsi. "Nothing." I say with a little smirk while looking at her belly. She rolled her eyes and started eating again. Everybody is looking at her so i say "Hey Lilianna, lets go to the other side of the bleachers." So Brooklyn Lilianna and I went to the other side of the bleachers where the opossing team usually sits. After we sit down i whisper to Lilianna "you need to tell them soon. Your gonna have to because your starting to show." She just gives me that 'i know' look. With that Lilianna turns to face Brooklyn and says "Brookyln."
"Yes?" Brookyln says with a confused look.
"What im about to tell you you can tell anybody" She says with a little fright in her voice. "Im pregnant."
"W-what?!?"
"Shh. I don't want people knowing." Lilianna almost screams. Almost the whole team is looking at us. They all run over to us and just stare at Lilianna. Someone said dont want people knowing what? Wow nosy much. I can tell Lilianna is thinking hard inside her head to tell them or not. What to do, what to do. She opens her mouth and...
