Faus'Latia

Saura'Latia Castle

My name is Elise (Lis'ra) Saura'Latia, and I'm a demi-human. A little over seven years ago a woman by the name of Mira Lis'ra had found me after a monster had attacked the slave caravan I was in. With me on death's doorstep, Mira had prayed I would live. By the grace of the gods, I was spared. After I had awakened Mira introduced herself as the ruler of the Garnet NightShade domain. Confused as to what had happened and where I was at I asked her what she wanted with me.

Mira had given me the chance to become her retainer or go back to the life I had lived up until that day. With no memory of my past at least from the age of four or five, I ran after her and begged for the chance to be worth something. Mira accepted my request, and for the next two years that followed, I trained so that I wouldn't disgrace her. After two years of training, I was given a final test. I passed the test and was given the title "Hero". During the ball that was held for me, I had met up with Mira not realizing it was a lunar eclipse.

With the emotions I had been suppressing over the two years, and with the eclipsed moon the Demi-Human genes that had lied dormant for so long were active, leading to my appearance now. After having a night with Mira I was sent on a mission to find a murderer in the southern reaches of Garnet NightShade. After two months I had completed my mission and went home. Before ending the murderer's life I had been told the truth behind my parents' death and that I was pregnant with Mira's children.

After returning home Mira and I decided we would tell the country about us getting married. To much surprise, everyone was happy and congratulated us. Several days later I told Mira the news of my pregnancy and with a little time, she accepted the truth of the matter. Five years later when our children were five, Mira and I told them our plans of going to my birthplace, which is where we are now. Alyssa, our daughter came with us, and our son Arsidian stayed behind to learn how to rule the domain.

Both of the children were adamant about our departure, but they both understood the importance it meant for me to see my home. Several days before we left I had found a scroll that held a spell to summon the first Dragon King. Once I summoned him, he agreed to listen to my summons as I was the heir to the throne for Saura'Latia. Without knowing what our daughter was planning, she asked if he would restore my home, my domain back to the way it was before it had been destroyed.

To our dismay, the dragon king of creation agreed. But warned us he could not bring back the dead. Which we all understood. He also agreed to stay behind and protect it until I was ready to return. It will have been a year since then, and Mira and I have agreed to stay there. The kids had grown in more ways than either of us had expected, but we were happy for them nonetheless.
