The New Spider (Male Reader x Marvel Universe)

Prologue

Y/n POV

You were walking down the street from your school when someone calls you.

*Phone rings*

Y/n: "Hey." You said while continuing to walk.

M/n: "Son are you busy?"

Y/n: "Not really. Why?"

M/n: "Great, can you buy some eggs for me son? Your grandmother wants some but we ran out of eggs." She says while sighing.

Y/n: "Grandma sure loves eggs." You said while laughing, thinking about your grandmother's addiction to eggs. 

M/n: "Yeah she's so addicted to it, that she wouldn't be able to live without it." Your mother responds while laughing.

Y/n: "Alright I'll buy some on the way." You said before ending the call.

-Timeskip

You bought the eggs and continued walking on your way home.

*Phone notification sound* (I don't know what they sound like cause, I always have my phone on mute.)

You check the notification and see that Spider Man: No Way Home is coming out this December. 

Y/n: "Yes!! It's finally coming out. I hope all three of the Spider Man(s?) are there." You said, very excited to watch the upcoming movie.

However while checking your phone, a truck comes in a very high speed and hits you. 

Beep. Beep. Beep.

The moment you notice the truck coming, it was already too late.

You opened your eyes slightly and all you could see was white.

Y/n: "W-where am I? Oh right I got hit by the truck" While scratching your eyes because it was too bright.

Then suddenly you heard a voice.

Voice: "Yes you were." Speaking in a loud but very calming tone.

Y/n: "Who is that? Where are you?" You asked, a little bit frightened by how loud the voice was, yet you were calm.(I think you were calm?)

Voice: "Oh I am your God, and I can't show myself to you otherwise your eyes would burn from seeing me. Just my presence alone is already almost blinding you, and my voice almost making you deaf." Trying to speak in a much lower volume, so that you wouldn't become deaf.

Y/n: "God? So I'm dead, hmm. I see." You said showing that you weren't shocked at your situation at all.

God: "I'm surprised you were able to accept your death that easily. Most of the people that come through here have a hard time accepting that they were dead." God said a little surprised from your reaction.

Y/n: "Well, what's done is done. I can't just fight what God wants to happen. Besides, I don't have any regrets at all. Well.... I guess I do wish I could've seen the new spider man movie before dying." You said, sounding a little bit sad.

God: "Well...." God says while sweating.

You could see him sweating and looking a bit apologetic about your situation.

Y/n: "It was my time to die right? I was supposed to get run over by a truck today right?"

God: "Uhm, you see. I-I accidentally touched one of the buttons here and it ended up opening a portal in front of a truck and another one near you. Sooo.."

Y/n: "What? I died because you accidentally touched one of the effing buttons???" You said clearly frustrated and angry.

God: "Yeah.... but as much as I want to send you back to Earth, I can't so I'm sorry." God said while looking a bit sad.

Y/n: "Damn it, what happens now?" You said while trying to calm yourself down.

God: "I can't send you back, but I can send you to other worlds. Like that movie you were talking about. It's actually another universe. A universe where people could become heroes, where gods exists, and where people are born with powers. Which I'm pretty sure are called mutants." God said, while muttering the last part.

Your eyes widened when you heard this.

Y/n: "Really? Well that doesn't seem to bad." You said while trying to hide your excitement but your face was beaming with joy, a complete opposite of what your face was 10 seconds ago.

God: "Yes, but in order to survive in such a dangerous world, and to make sure that you won't die by accident again, I'm going to have to give you some powers. So any ideas on what that might be?" God asked. Feeling a bit happier when you agreed to God's suggestion.

Y/n: "Well I want to be like Spider Man. Just the power not the hero itself. Oh and I want those organic webs. I don't want to have a hard time when I get emp'ed or when I run out of web fluids." You said practically geeking over the opportunity to be in the Marvel universe.

Y/n: "I also want a system that helps me, like an A.I. and also the ability to adapt to different events."

God: "Alright I can do that."

God: "Well I guess it's time to transfer you to another world"

Y/n: "Yeah, I guess it is."

So God yeets you to the Marvel Universe. But little did you know that the universe you are going to is a little bit different than what you know.

A/n: So what do you guys think about the story? Is it bad? It's my first so I really don't know what to do or how to write stories, writing and reading are 2 different things so yeah.
