The second tank took me, Ellis and Coach's combined AK fire to take down before the chopper got there. The whooshing noise got louder as the chopper hovered inches over the helipad. A huge cry came from everywhere and a sea of common poured from all directions. Everyone rushed for the chopper and I waited until last. Nick was trying to close the door on me but I pounced in before he could. Rochelle gave him a fiery glare. Cara looked very nervous. I checked my hand for blood before holding hers in mine. She smiled weakly and leaned her head against me. I put my arm around her and held her hand again. Cara soon drifted off to a seemingly peaceful sleep in my arms while I watched the world outside. A faint memory from when I was small went through my head. We were at a fall festival, I remember the tight feeling of the headphones, the scratchy sounding com system, the "thwack, thwack, thwack" of the blades. I had been on a helicopter before but it has been a VERY long time. I fished for more memories before drifting off myself.
