The ending result of the talk Camilo had with his mother was that he was grounded for several days, and the both of you were seperated for the grueling duration of that time.

As you adjusted getting used to being without your best friend, you finished up your homework and stared at the wall. Normally, you'd call Camilo over to "do homework", but you'd just have to find another way to entertain yourself, and so you did.

You took it to yourself to draw whatever you were thinking, not bothering to make it look nice but rather cure your boredom.

Days pass and you do they same thing each time you get he from school; drawing, fantasizing about the other world that should've been at your fingertips.

But whenever you went to bed, the mice wouldn't show up. Slowly but surely you lost hope that'd you'd ever go back to that paradise. Oh, how you missed it so. You missed it (almost) as much as you missed Camilo.

Knock, knock! "Qué pasó!?" (What's up!?)

Almost.

You practically shot up from your chair and desk and took long strides to your door, completely shocked at the boy standing in front of you, "Camilo!? You-You're here!" He nods and you smile, engulfing him in a hug, "I missed you!"

"Pshh," he was glad you couldn't see his reddening face, wrapping his arms around you too. "I didn't."

You pull back and frown. "I'm joking! Of course I missed you too." He pulls you back in and shakes you both from side to side, his heart warming as you giggle at his antics. "So.." the two of you pull apart and he closes the door behind him. "Did you.. go back?"

You shake your head. "No, sadly. The mice never came back, and the door won't budge." You cross your arms and go to sit on your bed. Moments pass by as sigh deeply; "..I really wanted to see her again." You looked down, placing your hands on your knees. Moments passed as you felt the weight of someone else sit on your bed next to you. He wrapped an arm around your shoulder in a side hug and leaned into you, and you did the same.

He kept his mouth shut, almost instinctively replying, instead opting to discard those words and hug you. "It's okay," He rubbed your shoulder, "..if you ever need someone to talk about.. you know, stuff with, then mi familia is open to you too." You smile softly, "..gracias, Camilo." You break away from his hold and look at him apologetically. "De nada." (You're welcome.) he smiles.

You give him a bigger smile of your own as he stands up, sighing at the thought that crossed his mind. "Well, I guess it's time to start.." he shivers. "Homework." You laugh at his overdramatic nature, "Woah, since when did you do that?"

"Since mi mama found my report card." He deadpans.

You laugh at him and walk towards your backpack, bringing out your work. "Well, let me know if you need he-"

"I need help." He lies, knowing he only said that because he wanted to be close to you. You laugh once more, chest heating up at his antics. "Ooookay, Camilo."

...

Squeak, squeak!

Unlike previously, you jump at the sound, immediately recognizing the squeaks of the oversized mice. "OMG," You sit up, looking down to find your textbook page flooded with your drool. You internally curse at yourself and look to your left, finding Camilo in the same position as you were: hunched over a piece of paper, sleeping over his work.
