Zayn: You were exactly like him and he was protective. You'd been stuck in the orphanage because you'd been neglected. It wasn't too bad, the neglect anyway. Your blood sister, who'd moved out two years before you moved to the orphanage, had taken care of you until you were capable of doing so yourself. Because your parents didn't care much, they didn't stop or rebuke you from doing smoking, skipping class, sneaking out, etc. The only thing you didn't partake in like other rebellious teens was drinking and doing drugs. Zayn had some happiness you'd started smoking. His thoughts about it were kind of weird... he'd excepted you as his sister immediately, and he hated the thought of his sister hurting herself, but he didn't want to go through the struggle of quitting alone. That was the reason for your close bond; you'd accomplished something big and difficult together, side by side. "We did it, Y/N!" Zayn exclaimed, crying a bit.
"No, don't cry! I'm going to be bawling my eyes out soon!" You replied, already sobbing. After multiple tears later, your whole family went to see a movie in celebration. Later that night, you and Zayn snuck out and grabbed some froyo from an ice cream parlor open 24/7.

Harry (his POV): "Hey, how was school?" I ask Y/N, my new sister.
"Good." She replies and I quietly sigh. I'd just come home from tour a few days ago and Y/N had been here for two weeks already. It was so awkward between us.
"Hey chic, ready to do some shopping as scope for hot dudes?" Gemma asks and Y/N nods eagerly. As they leave, envy boils inside me; why can't she and I be like that?
"Mum?" I call.
"Yes dear?" Se replies from the kitchen.
"Do you have any know why it's so awkward between Y/N and I?" I ask, sitting down at the island.
"I think it's because you're so famous. Remember when your school friends stopped talking to you because they thought school and extra curricular activities were nothing compared to traveling the world?" Mum asks as I feel a small pang in my heart.
"Yeah?"
"Well orphans at her home weren't allowed to do activities outside of school, there simply weren't enough Sisters to drive everyone everywhere and take care of the other children at the same time. My point is, she had nothing to do outside of school. Do you understand what I'm saying?" She asks.
"Yeah. How do I talk to her?" I pry.
"Well, she's failing her choir class." She replies.
"How do you fail choir?" I ask.
"Well, the class is mandatory and she just can't sing that well." She explains.
"So...if I do voice exercises with her, you think to could be quality time for us to get to know each other?" I pry.
"I couldn't agree more." Mum says and we both smile. After weeks of voice lessons, I think I've made a new best friend out of Y/N.
