Charlie's POV

"Excuse me." The cheerleading captain, Tara, says rudely.

"You're excused, bitch." I reply sassily.

"Get out of my way, you stupid accident!" She snaps.

"What?" I ask, raising my eyebrows and crossing my arms.

"You heard me. Your birth mom is sixteen years older than you, do you really think she wanted a baby when she was your age? You weren't supposed to happen, Charlie. You're a mistake." She giggled.

"Hey, you shut up!" Theo exclaims from behind you, walking up to her with a glare.

"Don't talk to my girlfriend like that!" Her boyfriend Logan pipes up.

"You know it's true. That's why Y/N dumped Charlie with your family. She didn't want her, and I understand why. You're so annoying, and you eat like a pig. You're just a useless mouth to feed." Tara sneers.

I look down, eyes blurry with tears.

"You take that back or I swear to God I will punch you in the face." Theo growls.

"Theo, it's ok." I mumble.

"No it's not! I tolerate them talking shit about me but nobody fucks with my sister."

"Yeah, we know what happens when you fuck Horan ladies. Accidents." Logan chuckles.

Theo looses it and he punches Logan! I was about to laugh and high five him, when unfortunately, the principal walks in at the wrong time.

"Theodore Horan! My office, now!" She screeches. The only ones laughing and high fiving are Tara, Logan and their evil minions. I storm off after sending them a venomous glare that would've dropped them if looks could kill.

Theo's POV

"Mom and dad are going to kill me!" I exclaim, taking the window seat on the bus with Charlie next to me.

"Do you think you did the right thing?" Charlie asks suddenly.

"Yeah, of course." I reply.

"Ok, then they'll understand. Tell them what happened, and I'll back you up." She states simply with a smile.

"Hey, don't let their words get to you." I say, noticing the sadness in her eyes and smile.

"But she's right! I am an accident."

"One of your favorite foods is potato chips, right?"

"Uh...yeah why?"

"They were created by accident. Chocolate chip cookies were made by a recipe gone wrong. Honestly, I think Tara was right about Aunt Y/N  not wanting you at her age, so you did happen accidentally, but not all accidents are a bad thing. And if your mom really didn't care for you, she could've aborted you. She loves you, Charlie, and so do I." I say, noticing her teary eyes.

"I love you too." Charlie whimpers, leaning into me. I wrap an arm around her and we stay in that position until the bus pulls into our house.

Narrator's POV

"THEODORE HORAN!" Denise screeches as soon as Charlie and Theo walked in.

"Mom, wait-" Charlie begins, intending to defend him.

"YOU PUNCHED SOMEBODY, WHAT THE HELL WERE YOU THINKING?" She continues.

"They were making fun of Charlie!" Theo exclaims, getting a shred of hope that maybe he'd be off the hook when he saw her face soften.

"That gives you no right to beat someone up." She sighs.

"There's a difference between beating someone up and punching them. Beating someone up means you punch and kick repetitively, but he only punched that arsehole once." Charlie pipes up.

"Both of you, to your rooms. Greg, we need to talk about Theo's punishment." Denise sighs.

Before Theo could argue back, Charlie rushes him upstairs.

"Arguing is only going to make it worse." She sighs.

"It's not fair!" He exclaims, feeling a little childish.

"I know, but that doesn't change the fact that bickering won't make your situation any better. Want to cool off alone, or should I stay with you?" She offered.

"I need to cool off." He sighs, giving her a final hug before they part ways.

"Good luck." She states, walking into her room.

Greg walks in Theo's room what feels like centuries later, though only ten minutes in reality.

"And the jury decided..?" Theo starts off.

"You're off the hook." Greg states as Theo goes wide eyed.

"W-What?"

"Well I told her your uncle and I did much more than just punch someone when he made fun of Y/N, and that convinced her to let this be a strike one."

"Oh my god, thank you!"

"Yeah. And next time someone picks on Charlie, I've learned that pranks work out so much better than physical fights. It humiliates the person and you don't get in trouble." Greg winks.

"I'll keep that in mind." Theo chuckles.

Omg I'm so sorry it took so long. I've been so busy with church, school, upcoming prom and other fanfictions. I'll try not to let it happen again, I promise.  :)
