"Mommy!" Her greyish eyes shine with the sunlight beaming through the window.

"Baby can you move closer?"

"Yeah. Why Mommy?"

So I can see your cute face.

"Ow- hehehe stop." Chubby hands lightly smack her hands away giggling all the while.

She smirks at the antics and blows a raspberry on the childs stomach creating a wave of high pitched squeals "But I wuv your cwute face so mwuch."

"Nooo~!" The child rolls over to the end of the bed away from the woman's hands and catches his breath. The woman's face softens and she brings child close holding him in her arms.

"You know I love you Harry right?"

"Yea!!!! I love you too."

"Even if I can't see you anymore your still my little boy, and I know your father won't show it like I do but I'm sure he loves you." Her face grows hoarse as she rubs his head slowly in a somber manner.

The memory fades as she gives a bright smile and her face blurs distinct features disappearing over the years.

The child unexpectedly look up unsure, "Really..?"

"Yep, now. Harry?"

'Huh."

"Harry."

"Harry!"

"HARRY!!"

"HARRY WAKE UP, I DO NOT HAVE TIME FOR THIS FOOLISHNESS."

The voice gets louder even as I turn over.

"Harrison Osborn. NOW!"

I jolt up with a start at my fathers voice, having rush of new energy. I look around hazy eyes and spot him in my doorway fully dressed in a sleek suit.

"Yes?"

"I'll be back at 3 pm, early. I know. But I'll have sitter sent since I clearly cannot trust you at home alone.

"Yes...Father."

He gives me a sideways glance eyebrows dropping to a scowl.

"I mean yes D-Daddy." I forcefully urge the words out of mt mouth to please him. It used to be so easy now I can't even say it without the pain swelling in my chest.

His face turn back into a neutral stare and he nods accepting the answer then turns shutting my door behind him.

I let out a sigh of relief and flop down again staring at the blank ceiling.

I wonder how it'll feel leaving this place behind, Going to a new school with a different group of elite children raised off of their parents money.

My phone vibrates on my nightstand making me flinch from the noise. Reaching fir my glasses on the nightstand I focus my eyes on the bright screen.

I look at the caller ID and recoil losing all previously gained energy. I've been Ducking Peter's texts and calls not considering he has called me more than 20 times and texted me more than 50.

The conversation with my father had taken a great toll on my mental state. Also not attending school must have him really worried.

But still. I just can't look him in the eyes right or even speak to him, the words my father said are still to fresh in my mind.
