I'm a mess

Noah's pov 

we've been playing board games for sometime and it was starting to really get boring 

Noah: Cody I'm getting kinda bored do you have any ideas of what we could do ?

Cody looked at me and stayed silent for sometime,then I saw his big blue eyes shine

Cody: I have an idea ! we could go swimming 

Noah: not a bad idea it's starting to get hot  

Cody nodded his head while smiling

I got up and Cody just looked a me 

Noah:  I'm going to get changed and then you go, ok?

Cody: sure

I got my swim trunks and went to the bathroom change 

Once I got dressed I got out from the bathroom and saw cody sitting on the bed,he looked kinda strange so I went besides him and sat next to him

Noah: I finished changing you can go now, but is everything ok?

He looked at me surprised 

Cody: I'm fine thanks,I'm going to change now

Cody got up and went to the bathroom,I knew something was wrong but I didn't know what and I also knew I couldn't force him to say something,Cody is one of the most important people I have and I hate to see him like that and not be able to help

I was thinking about what I could do when I felt a hand on my shoulder

Cody: let's go!

He had that cute smile on his face that always made me fell better 

I nodded my head while getting up 

Noah: lead the way 

and with that Cody and I walked to a lake near the cottage, it was beautiful, it had almost crystal water and around the lake there were some benches and lots of flowers like the rest of the garden 

Noah: wow..

Cody: beautiful right?

Cody looked at me while smiling

Noah: yes it is 

I was admiring the beautiful scene,when I felt Cody undoing my hair

Noah: what are you doing?

Cody: I'm taking the flowers from you hair I think you forgot

Noah: oh yeah I forgot,thanks 

Cody: no problem

Noah: you took of the flower from your hair too?

Cody: yes actually took it before we came 

Noah: I was so concentrated in my thoughts that I didn't even notice,sorry

Cody: no problem but if you had entered the water with the flowers in your hair it would be a problem 

Noah: true

Cody was taking the flowers carefully from my hair while undoing the braid

Cody: done !

I didn't even have time to answer because Cody grabbed my arm and pulled me to the lake 

Noah: hey you didn't have to pull me like that !

Cody seemed like he didn't care,and he really didn't 'cause he started to throw water on my face while laughing 

Noah: so this is how is gonna be..

I started to trow water at Cody too 

Cody: water fight!!!

we started to splash water in each other like two little kids or better two idiots 

I was laughing so much that I started to get out of breath and stopped trowing water at Cody

Noah: we're looking like two five years olds

Cody: the only five year old here is you

Noah: yeah whatever you like to think 

Cody crossed his arms and looked away

Noah: Dramatic, don't need to pretend you are mad that I know you aren't 

Cody: whatever..

he uncrossed his arms slowly and looked back me

(time skip)

Cody's pov

I really like Noah but I don't think he would like me back, we are best friends and I guess only that..only FRIENDS

This time I'm spending with him made me only fall deeper for him and I don't know what to do,I've thought of confessing but I always give up,my head is a mess and I'm trying my best not to overthink but is hard,really hard 

Now I'm laying on my bed looking at the selling not being able to sleep while Noah was reading his book quietly as usual 

from time to time I looked at Noah to see if he had slept but he has a really bad sleeping habit so he usually sleeps really late 

I was looking at Noah and he noticed and looked at me 

Noah: having trouble to sleep?

Cody: yeah..

He placed his book down and called me 

Noah: come here 

I was confused but I trusted Noah so I did as he said and sat next to him 

Cody: why did you want me to come here?

Noah: when I was little my older sister used to stroke my hair until I slept,it really helped me relax,of course if don't want to you can go back to your bed

Noah looked embarrassed so I smiled at him and laid my head on his lap 

Cody: take this as my answer

Noah let out a small laugh and started to stroke my hair,I closed my eyes and slowly fell asleep

Even if at the end Noah doesn't love me back I know that I never loved or will love someone like I loved him

~sorry for not posting in some time but I've been felling like if my head is just empty,I'm a little out of ideas, so if it takes me long to update that is the reason 

~ok hear me out i forgot  how cute this chapter was and different from last chapter I had to change almost nothing, I'm actually proud of my past self right now (yeah agree lol)
