🐺 The Kitchen Incident

Third pov

Roxy always had to be the best, even though she was trying to let that go she still wanted to get better at cooking. Mostly to show Chica she can cook too (and prove that she could cook better).

The first and only time Roxy tried to cook it was late at night. If she failed she didn't want anyone to know, but it was hard to avoid Moon. Since they were always awake, as Moon or Sunny, either way it was hard to be sneaky with them walking around.

"Okay, everyone should be 'asleep' now." Roxy whispered to herself, quietly getting up, well as quiet as a metal being could.

The others didn't exactly sleep, the closest they got to sleep was powering down. It saved energy and was somewhat comforting to Gregory since he knew he wasn't the only one asleep. Of course only Moon would stay up, mostly to protect the others.

Back to Roxy, who was now making her way to the kitchen. Only to be spotted by Moon, who sat at the kitchen table.

"Naughty girl, why are you up past your bedtime?" They stood up, but sat down again knowing Gregory wouldn't like to wake up to a fight.

"Quit it, Moon, I'm just...trying to cook. Do not tell anyone or I swear I'll trash you" Roxy growled, trying to intimidate the other animatronic. It wasn't successful, but Moon let it go and nodded, going to check the doors and windows again.

Once Moon left her alone, Roxy realized she didn't know any recipes. Groaning, she went to steal Bonnie's laptop, it was pretty cheap but worked well enough. Roxy used it to find a simple recipe, but simple wasn't enough so she found a more complicated one to make.

"This one is perfect!" Roxy grinned, getting together the ingredients needed for the dish. She couldn't find some of the things needed but shrugged it off, deciding it was fine.

The beginning went well enough, sure there was a mess but nothing was ruined...yet. Once it got to the part that needed the oven things didn't go so well.

Roxy put her soon to be completed meal in the oven then left to the living room, sitting on the couch with Moon.

"Ugh, how does Chica cook everyday? It's so tiring" Roxy whined, laying her arms across the top of the couch.

"She does it for fun...not competition like you" Moon replied them got up to check around the apartment once again.

Roxy scoffed then closed her eyes, some rest wouldn't hurt. It's not like she could mess up something as simple as cooking. After all, she is Roxanne Wolf.

But still, this new life was hard for her adjust to, missing the loving cheers from her fans and the thrill of racing on her track. What she missed the most was winning, being the best. Sure, she's learning that winning isn't everything, but it's still hard for her accept she isn't the best at certain things. Cooking being one of them.

Once she thought her dish was in the oven for long enough she went to take it out. But when she opened the oven, smoke poured out and set off the fire alarms. Waking Gregory and alerting Moon, who woke everyone else.

"SHIT" Roxy threw the burning meal into the sink before it could damage her hands, quickly turning on the sink in attempt to put it out but it only made more smoke.

"What the hell?!" Monty yelled, running over with Chica following close behind, while Bonnie and Freddy rushed to Gregory.

Because of her many visits to the kitchen in the megaplex, Chica knew to use the fire extinguisher, quickly getting rid of the small fire in the sink. "Oh no, Roxy, what happened here?"

"She tried to cook!" Sunny answered, they had shown up after Moon accidentally turned the lights back on while waking up everyone.

"Sun are you serious?!" Roxy hissed, feeling slightly betrayed she was called out so quickly.

Sunny backed away, knowing they might get yelled at by the wolf animatronic.

"Why hasn't anyone opened a window, the smoke is bad for Gregory!" Bonnie rushed out of the child's room to open all the windows, fanning out the smoke. The others quickly began to help.

Once everything had settled, Freddy took Gregory back to bed while Bonnie talked to Roxy about what had happened. To Roxy's surprise, she wasn't yelled at, but was banned from using the oven again.

The next day Roxy made it up to Gregory by playing his favorite board games with him, letting him each game. He loved getting to win and eventually forgot about what had happened the previous night.

Aaaand there the first oneshot! I don't really like that it's the first but it's better than nothing-
