Third pov

While everyone was out, Sunny would often wonder the halls of the apartment, looking for more friends and to just get out of the apartment. It was nice for them, they loved the freedom since they didn't have as much at the pizzaplex.

Most days when they did wonder around they didn't see much, every now and then they'd help neighbors with little tasks but they'd be back out in the hallway after it. But it was different one day, they heard a child crying which automatically urged then to find the kid and help them.

After a bit of searching they found the source of the sobs and sniffling in a small hiding space.

Sunny bent over to see the child and spoke quietly to not scare them "hey sunshine, don't be sad, I'm here!"

Y/N flinched slightly at the sudden sound, you looked up to Sunny but kept quiet.

The sun themed animatronic sat down close by, leaning against the wall to wait "I'll be right here when you're ready to come out, take as long as you need"

After a couple a minutes, Y/N went to Sunny and sat next to them. You were nervous, as most kids are when meeting strangers, but there was something kind and comforting to Sunny's understanding smile.

"I...I don't know where I am" Y/N whispered then let another sob, you hugged your knees to your chest and hid your face.

"Oh, don't worry sunshine, I'll help you find your way home" Sunny pat your head gently, making sure not to scare you with the sudden pat.

Y/N looked up at Sunny and sniffled "do you promise?"

Sunny nodded and stuck out their pinky "I pinky promise, and I never break pinky promises"

Unable to wrap your small pinky around theirs, you just held it and nodded. Sunny chuckled and wiped your tears "wanna piggy back ride to find your family easier?"

Y/N perked up and nodded happily, quickly being scooped up by Sunny and sat down onto their shoulders. Because of their height, you could touch the ceiling and see most of everything around you. For a kid, it was the most amazing amazing thing.

You smiled and held onto the sun rays on their head as they began to walk around.

"Now, where can little sunshine's parents be?" Sunny spun around carefully, making you giggle and kick your feet in excitement.

"Um um I think that way!" you pointed in the direction of the stairs and they jogged over, gently bouncing you to make you happier.

"Oh boy, these stairs sure are long, do you think we'll make it sunshine?" Sunny spoke dramatically, putting their hand to their forehead.

"Yup! We can do it! Right Mr. Sun?" Y/N smiled at the animatronic, ready for them to race down the stairs.

"Of course! Nothing stops us!" They stood upright proudly then rushed down the stairs, making sure you don't fall or get hurt by anything.

Once at the bottom of the stairs they went into the lobby and were quickly met by a worried mother.

"Oh Y/N there you are!" She sighed in relief then smiled at Sunny "thank you so much for bringing them back"

"No worries ma'am, me an' sunshine had a fun time, right?" Sunny carefully got you off their shoulders and set you down on the floor.

You bounced happily and nodded "yeah! Can we play again?"

"Not right now, but maybe we'll move to these apartments then you can play anytime" your mom smiled, picking you up "but let's say bye now, he have to go home"

You waved "bye bye Mr. Sun!"

"Bye sunshine!" They waved back happily, glad to see you happy and smile.
