⟢Peter's POV⟣

I watch the Narnians going about their days from the top of the hill as I try to process everything. I see my sisters and Hazel come out of their tent. The wind carried their voices up to me albeit quite muffled. "The river is just through there. I'm going to go talk to some Narnians. Have fun!" Hazel was saying. I watch as my sisters head into the woods. I was happy to see that they are both carrying their gifts from Father Christmas. Hazel catches my eye and waves to me before signaling if I was okay. I gesture that I'm fine and watched as she went to talk to some Narnians that her parents must have known.

I'm so preoccupied in my thoughts that I don't notice Aslan coming up behind me until he speaks. "She speaks highly of you. I'm sure you will be a great king, Son of Adam." I jump a little before trying to steer the conversation out of waters I don't want to talk about. "What's that?" I ask, pointing out something in the distance. "That is Cair Paravel. The castle of the four thrones. In one of which you will sit, Peter, as High King." I drop my head as he says this. "You doubt the prophecy." "No. That's just it. Aslan, I'm not who you all think I am." I pour out my worries. "Peter Pevensie," Aslan interrupts me gently, "formerly of Finchley. Beaver also mentioned you planned on turning him into a hat." I chuckle lightly remembering how annoyed I was.

"Peter there is a deep magic more powerful than any of us that rules over Narnia. It defines right from wrong and governs all our destinies. Yours. And mine." "But I couldn't even protect my own family!" I interrupt. "You've brought them safely this far." Aslan tries to comfort. "Not all of them." I mutter sadly. "Peter, I will do what I can to help your brother. But I need you to consider what I ask of you. I too want my family safe." I follow his gaze to the bottom of the path where Hazel is standing talking to Oreius. I shoot Aslan a quizzical glance. "It is up to her to tell you, not me or anyone else. Wait for her to feel ready to talk just like she did for you." He simply replies.

⟢Lucy's POV⟣

"You look like mum." I say to Susan as we stand by the river. "Mum hasn't had a dress like this since before the war." Su replies sadly. "We should bring her one back! A whole trunkful!" I exclaim excitedly. "If we ever get back." Susan quietly states. The smile on my face drops a bit. "I'm sorry I'm like that. We used to all have fun together, didn't we?" Susan apologizes. I smirk before answering. "Yes. Before you got boring." I giggle as Susan answers. "Oh really?" "Absolutely!" I continue the joke. Before I know what's happening Susan splashes me with water. This continues for a while.

We've spent a lot of time splashing water at each other before we get out. Susan pulls her towel off a branch and we both cry out in shock and take a few steps back into the river as a wolf appears from behind it and growls. "Please don't try to run." The first wolf states. "We're tired." Another wolf continues, making itself known to us. "And we'd prefer to kill you quickly." A third one finishes. Three wolves and two of us. We both glance around for something to help us before Susan throws her towel at the wolves and gestures to me to climb the tree. I get up the tree and watch her grab her horn and blow it before scrambling up beside me. Her foot is hanging dangerously low and the wolves keep snapping at it.

"Get back!" All of us, even the wolves, look over to see Peter charging across the river, sword outstretched. "Peter!" I cry out scared for him. The wolves almost laugh before heading to circle him, ignoring us in the tree for now. "Come on. We've already been through this. We both know you haven't got it in you." The first wolf taunts. "Peter! Watch out!" Susan cries as the wolves are nearly in a position where he can only watch two at once. Susan and I both shriek a little when one of the wolves that was right by a bush falls with a sword through it. The bush shakes, not to reveal an enemy luckily but Hazel who unconcernedly goes over to the wolf and pulls her sword out. While we were all watching her a roar filled the area and Aslan came into the clearing and pinned down another wolf. A small portion of the army followed him with weapons drawn. "No, stay your weapons. This is Peter's battle." Aslan orders. I watch as my brother lines up his sword with the wolf in front of him. "You may think you're a King. But you're going to die like a dog." The wolf growls before leaping at Peter. A series of cries rang out and we both dropped from the tree and ran to Peter. I notice Hazel doing the same. Susan and I push the wolf's body off Peter with tears in our eyes. Peter sits up slowly and looks at us. We all look at each other for a second before Susan and I fly into his arms hugging him tightly. "After him! He'll lead you to Edmund." Aslan orders as he releases the last wolf. The members of the army there took off after the wolf leaving only us four in the clearing with Aslan. "Peter, Hazel, clean your swords." Aslan orders calmly after we have all made sure that everyone was safe and unharmed.

Hazel and Peter wash the blood from their swords in the river before kneeling in front of Aslan. Aslan placed a paw on Peter's shoulder before speaking. "Rise, Sir Peter Wolfsbane. Knight of Narnia." I watched my brother get to his feet before Aslan placed his paw on Hazel's shoulder "Rise, Dame Hazeline Shadowstorm. Knight of Narnia." Hazel gets to her feet a lot more gracefully than Peter before Aslan nods and they turn to us with bright smiles. Susan and I run forward to congratulate them and give them hugs before we all head back to camp. The two new knights hanging at the back talking.
