The Dinner

I'm currently heading in for a shower before the dinner.
Today was exhausting, I feel like drowning myself.

I spent a few minutes in there before deciding that it was time to leave, as I got out I see Naruto still sleeping.
The phone rung, I quickly picked it up before the blonde woke up.

"..."

Hello? Sasuke?

"Neji."

I just called to let you know that we'll be having dinner now.

"Could I possibly get food shifted in my room?"

Well..You can but I just thought it'd be nice having it together.

"..."

Is anyone with you?

"No."

Then come on outside, we'll have dinner with everyone.

"Fine."
I quickly hung up.
I don't feel like seeing them at all.
I got back in the bed for a few minutes.

Maybe I should change and go. Rolling off the bed, and changing into presentable clothes, I decided to wake Naruto up.

"Hey, c'mon. We're having dinner." I woke him up after a few attempts.

"Ugh, you can go..my head hurts." He whined and cuddled with the blanket. "But-"

"Suigetsu's going to take me and a few other people out in about 30-ish minutes." He explained, I sighed patting his shoulder, "suit yourself."

I got up, but he suddenly pulled me in a hug. Making me lay beside him, I blushed at the hand placement.

"Naruto.." I said in a shock-ish way. "I know" he responded, but let me go after a few seconds.

He fell asleep, changing posture.

I close the door, making my way to Neji. He smiled, welcoming me. We talked to a few guests, I didn't notice his hand slipped across my waist until now.

I didn't say anything, knowing it'll only make it awkward. I noticed a few changes, Itachi and Shisui who were talking weren't there anymore. So wasn't Hinata, TenTen, & Sai.

I asked Neji about it, he only said that it was because they ate early and didn't bother waiting for the other guests.

Naruto's pov:

I was peacefully sleeping until I got a phone call, I picked it up without knowing who it was.

"Hello?"

Hey, babe!

"Sakura?"

Were you sleeping?

"I'm up now.."

Sorry to bother you,
Call back later.

"Wait, I'm up. What'd you need?"

I was wondering if you could pick me and Ino up.

"Yeah, sure. Where are you two?"

I'm at Ino's place, and we were wondering if you wanted to come hang out with us for a while..

"I mean yeah. It's been a while."

Aw, thank you. Where are you right now?

"In the Hyuga palace, I was supposed be with them at all time but looks like there already is enough security."

Alright! I'll send you the address, pick us up and we'll make plans.

"Right, see you."
