It was a fine winter morning, Damiko Kaneari wakes up by the sunlight rays hitting her face, She sits down on her bed grabbing her phone for a little bit scrolling, the environment was quite peaceful until "DAMIKO KANEARI CAN YOU PLEASE TELL YOU DAMN BIRD TO KEEP IT'S MOUTH SHUT?" Jeongwoo explains aggressively as Dami looked at him curiously "What?", "One of your bird is chirping till yesterday night!" Before Jeongwoo could continue more, she pushed him aside making her way to the balcony, "Dekko? Dano? What happened?" She watches her birds from a distance, her bird Dekko was flying insanely all over the cage, Dami somehow didn't got the courage to go infront of the cage and see what's going on, "Haruto! Can you please come here?" She turns around and calls Haruto who was passing by the living room, "Dekko is trying to show me something but I'm afraid, can you please check her out?" Dami asks as Haruto nods while giving her a morning hug, Dami watches her older's back as he was taking something out of the cage, Watanabe Haruto turns back with a sad face while holding Dami's bird Dano kinda frozen and barely able to do anything, Dami burst out crying after seeing her beloved bird's condition like that, "Shh, don't cry" Haruto hushed as she increases her crying, all the other boys came to the living room and Haruto explains the matter only by showing the bird in his large hands, "He could be saved! Come on Haruto, we will Take him to the pet hospital" Jaehyuk suggests while wearing his hoodie as Haruto nods "Listen Dami, don't cry he'll be totally fine, just have strength!" The Japanese male bends down to reach Dami's height and gave a peck on her cheek.

"Dami stop stressing up and relax for a bit!" Jihoon says while turning to the Korean-Japanese female who has been walking all over the dorm for the 7th time, "It was all my fault! I forgot to cover it with a blanket and also didn't gave food for some days! How can I be so irresponsible?" Dami says while frustratedly running her fingers through her hair, "You're a human! People can do mistakes" Junghwan tries to calm Dami but she won't listen at all "Mistakes surely happens! But a mistake which kills someone is not really okay right?" Dami snaps back "Chewy just cool down, Your Dano will be fine" Mashiho says while pulling her into a hug, "Yes, I shouldn't be worrying much"

The door creek open Jaehyuk and Haruto as Dami runs towards them "Guys! Where's Dano? Is he alright?" Dami asks while holding Jaehyuk's hands as he looks at Haruto "I'm really very sorry Dami, We couldn't save it, he died due to the cold weather and also in lack of protein" Jaehyuk says while pulling Dami to his embrace as she started to cry while covering her eyes, The other boys look at each other in disbelief, "It's okay Dami, don't cry" Doyoung says while rubbing her back, "May his soul rest in peace, I'm for sure that Dano won't like it if he sees you cry from above" Yoshi encouraged as Dami looks back at him with teary eyes, "You should take a rest, You're crying since morning" Yedam says while leading Dami to her room.
Dami lied on her bed, as Yedam covered her with a blanket, "I'll turn the lights off" Yedam says before turning off the lights and closing the door.

"YAHH, it's been 3 hours since Dami didn't came out of her room! I'm feeling worried" Junghwan whines as Asahi replies "Wait I'll go and check on her", Asahi slightly opens the door and tip toed to Dami, he was about to caress her cheek as he realizes she has a fever, Asahi frowns and quietly leaves the room "Guys, Dami has a high fever" Asahi says while the guys rushed to her room, while some were still outside, "I've read a story on internet yesterday, a dog had died and his owner fell sick the next day and-" Before junkyu could continue more, Hyunsuk cutted his sentence off "Let's keep these bad talks aside and think about what should we do?", "Me and Doyoung are going to bring her some medicines" Yoshi says while walking out of the dorm with Doyoung.

"Dami! Look what I've brought you" Yoshi dramatically says while Doyoung opens the door for him "A new bird! Dekko won't be alone now!" Doyoung says while taking a seat on Dami's bed "Thanks but nothing can replace Dano" Dami says while giggling and again looking at the night sky by the window while Yoshi and Doyoung frustratedly looks at each other, "Dami, have your medicines!" Haruto states while coming to the room with a glass of water and some medicines on his palm, after Dami swallows her medicine Haruto continues "You should sleep, we'll get going", Haruto got up with Yoshi and Doyoung following him behind, "Good night princess" Doyoung says while closing the door.

Suddenly a random thought came in Dami's mind as she quickly gets up from her bed and takes her bird cage without any energy, she walked out of the room making the other boys notice her "Where are you going?" Jihoon asks from the kitchen as he was quite surprised to see his younger like that "To the rooftop!" Dami says as the guys started to follow her till they reached the rooftop.
Dami sits down on the ground in front of the Cage as the other guys watched her from behind "I'm so sorry to keep you guys inside this cage for total 5 years, I've always wanted to let you guys go and have freedom but I'm always afraid to lose my loved ones, You guys are not just only birds to me, you guys meant the whole world to me, Thank you so much for always being there for me Dekko, I've made many unforgettable memories with you guys through the past 5 years, But now I've realized that you guys have the right to have your own freedom! Those wings are made to fly high up in the sky, So let's get it!" Dami says while opening the door of the cage as one of the bird which Yoshi brought some hours ago flies away, while Dekko hesitatedly jumps out of the cage and standing on Dami's small hands as tears started to roll from her eyes "Go Dekko! I'll miss you a lot! Take care~ And have a nice family" Dami says while kissing it's head and standing up, while the boys started to tear up at their youngest thinking how mature she is now, "Fly away home, Dekko!" Dami states while Dekko flies away up in the sky and loosing from their sight within a minute as Dami wipes her tear off, She turned around as the boys ran to her and hugged her tightly, I'm in need of my friends, now Dekko must be having fun with her own friends - Dami thinks as she lets out a smile

The next day, Dami wakes us by the sound of something Snatching on her window but she didn't paid any attention to it, she sits down and thinks What could Dekko be doing now? She snapped out of her thoughts by the chirping sounds coming from her window as she tilts her head and slightly moves the curtains, she holds her mouth in disbelief and again checks if everything was in reality, She now unlocked the window and let's the tiny creature walk in, Yes! It was Dekko who came to see her owner, Dekko jumps on Dami's head making Dami giggle "GUYS! LOOK WHO IT IS?" Dami says while walking out of her room with Dekko on her hands as the guys look at each other in total disbelief how much their affection is for each other, Dekko was not only happy to see Dami only, she was also happy to see the Treasure members too as they have always took a great care of Dekko herself.

Hello guys! I hope you liked the chapter! It was quite sad for me to write these as it has happened to me so yeahh it means I was inspired by myself lol,
We should take a lot of care to our pets and Animals all around! They are also a part of our world, without them I think we couldn't be moving so forward so yeahh- we should be thankful to birds and animals, Some toxic people thinks caring about animals and birds is stupid, talking to them is also stupid but dude why doesn't they get that birds and animals also have a life, they also have feelings, only if they cannot talk doesn't mean talking to them is useless!
