“Yo, are the balloons settled alright?” Jihoon questioned, holding up a balloon on the top of the wall. Honestly, he was very bad at party planning. Dami gestured him up and a little right which he actually obliged, “There you go!” she clapped her hands, smiling.
“woah, looks awesome!” Yoshi complimented the party spot, but soon became busy with settling the food on the table. Dami sighed, It was already Jeongwoo’s 20th birthday.
Every Treasure member were actually pretty busy, Hyunsuk was settling down Jeongwoo's presents on a table which was almost full. Jihoon was setting up balloons and other decorations along Junkyu and Doyoung. Asahi was clicking pictures for memories, while Yoshi was setting the food table. Jaehyuk and Junghwan were fighting over some chocolates in the snack bar while Haruto bickered with Dami when she was trying to guide the decorations. Just a normal yet special day for Treasure.
For now, they minded their own business though they were being loud as hell. “All done here!” Doyoung declared, his back turned at Dami while he settled up a few posters of Jeongwoo, Dami grinned at their arrangement, crossing her arms over her chest. One of the guys stood next to her, nudging Dami with his shoulder, “Looks great”.
“I know right?” Dami smiled, but suddenly… her smile faded as she immediately turned her head to notice a grinning Jeongwoo. All of them froze to their places.
“YAH!! PARK JEONGWOOOOOO” They all yelled at the young boy while he burst out laughing. “This is supposed to be a surprise!” Dami whined, hitting his shoulder lightly. “Well, not anymore,” Jeongwoo teased, ruffling her hair before he turned back to look at the other members, “Thank you so much guys… I really wasn't expecting these,” Jeongwoo said softly, his voice warm and sweet. It was something unusual.
The boys smiled widely, each of them pulling Jeongwoo in a tight group hug along Dami until the boy was gasping for air. Eventually they pulled back and glanced at each other, Asahi checked his wrist watch, it was half an hour left until 12 o'clock and Jeongwoo had already spoiled his own surprise. “What shall we do now?” Haruto asked, tugging at Dami's ponytail while Hyunsuk thought a little. His thoughts were interrupted when Jaehyuk suggested something that they all approved, “Let’s play a game!”. “Alright, what game?” Yoshi asked, sitting down on the bean bag at the corner of the living room while the rest settled on the couch, and few on the carpet. Jaehyuk cleared his throat before he began to explain, “Y’all know… 3 months are left till New year, so how about we write on chits who we want to see on the next day of New Year's eve?” Everyone nodded, laughing at the idea. “And what happens next?” Jihoon raised a brow, while Jaehyuk continued, “We're gonna shuffle our chits together and divide the chits within ourselves and… we have to help meet ourselves to the person written on their chits. And the rule is, don't tell anyone who you got!” He ended. Grabbing a few papers and cutting them in small pieces. Dami was excited, she helped him by serving each of them pens.
