chapter 13

y/n pov

"say that again y/n.." Taehyun said, looking straight into my eyes.

"I-I'm sorry, I didn't mean to-" I started to apologize thinking I made him uncomfortable.

but before I could finish he put his hands on my waist and pulled me closer to him. our faces mere centimeters away.

and all throughout this, he did not look away from my eyes. "say it again" he said, in a low whisper.

"I-I said that you're  smart, caring, honest, cute, handsome, and everything in between" I whispered slowly.

he had a small smile on his face when I finished.

"so you think I'm cute and handsome?" he whispered, his smile growing a little bigger.

I felt all the heat from my body rush up into my cheeks. I looked down in an attempt to try and hide me burning cheeks.

I felt his hand under my chin, and he lifted my face back up so that my eyes would meet his intense gaze.

he leaned towards my ear. "it's ok, I think you're beautiful too" he whispered in a deep voice.

he leaned back only a couple inches. our noses were brushing each other's. we stayed like that staring into each other's eyes.

my heart was beating rapidly in my chest, i dont know why every time I'm with him my heart beats like crazy.

as I was thinking , I saw his gaze flicker down to my lips, and I couldn't help but do the same.

his lips were full, pink, and plush. I wondered if they were soft.

'wait WHAT y/n, you need to stop with these thoughts'

"y/n, can I ask you something?" Taehyun whispered, moving his gaze back up to meet with mine.

"sure, what's up?" I slowly asked him. "can I kiss you?" he asked. the sudden question took me by surprise.

"w-what?" I stuttered, trying to comprehend what he just asked me.

"want me to show you what I asked?" he asked again. I was confused, did I hear him right.

before I could even answer him, he moved one hand from my waist and cupped my cheek close to my jawline.

he started to lean in.

ohmygodohmygodohmygod.

I was freaking out he closed his eyes, so I did too.

*ding dong*

the sudden ring of the doorbell scared us both and we jumped back into each other's embrace.

well...I jumped into taehyun's embrace and he just hugged me, but that's besides the point!

"uh-uhm you should get that" I said to taehyun. he looked annoyed , but he got up and went to the front door.

I sat there and tried to think about what just happened. my heart was beating like crazy, and my cheeks were burning.

I was very much flustered. "stay the hell away from me and my friends!" I heard a sudden yell coming from the front door.

I got up and went to see what was going on.

taehyun was standing at the front door, and there was..a girl. she looked about my age and she was very pretty.

"yunnie, what's going on?" I asked him. he turned around and I could see fury and anger in his eyes.

I looked at the girl and saw her smirk. I was confused but shook it off. "so shes why you're acting like this? you just wait taehyun, and for you!" she pointed at me.

"you better look forward to what's coming for you" She said and sent me a glare.

"don't talk to her like that! now get the hell away from me and don't come back!" Taehyun yelled at the girl.

she rolled her eyes and walked out of sight. taehyun slammed the door and went straight to his room.

I was very confused at this point. who was that girl? why did she threaten me? and most importantly, how does she know taehyun?

I shoved all these thoughts aside and went to taehyun's room and knocked on the door.

"yunnie? are you ok?" I asked. no response. "yah taehyun you're worrying me!" I yelled, again no response.

"kang taehyun I swear if you don't open this do-" I started to get angry, but before I could finish my sentence the door flew open and a hand pulled me into the room and pinned me to the wall.

I was shocked, and looked up to see taehyun standing right infront of me, his hands pressed to the wall on either side of me.

I took a closer look at his face and his eyes were red and puffy, it looked like he had been crying.

I cupped his face once again with my tiny hands and stroked his cheeks. "I hate that she's back! I hate the way she talked to you! I just hate her!" Taehyun sobbed.

he put his head on my shoulder and wrapped his arms around my small body and hugged me. my shirt started to feel wet due to his tears.

I wrapped my arms around his waist and hugged him back , and tried to calm him down.

"Taehyun it's ok. I'm right here. look at me" I said, pulling his face up from my shoulder to meet my stare.

"see, I'm right here infront of you. just focus on me and forget what just happened" I said. he looked at me, almost as if he was debating something inside of him.

the next thing I knew I was lifted up and sat down on his bed . he kneeled infront of me and grabbed both of my hands in his.

"t-That was her.. the girl I told you about earlier" he said , gritting his teeth together. I could see he was getting upset again.

I grabbed his shoulders and made him look at me. his cold gaze softened when he looked at me. I leaned forward and placed a kiss on his hair.

"forget about it" I said, wanting him to calm down.

he took a deep breath in and sighed. I got up and started to walk towards the door of his room, but I felt him grab me hand and turn me around.

he walked towards me and I backed up when he started coming closer and closer. my back eventually hit the wall and he had me pinned..again.

"where were we before she ruined our moment?"...
