chapter 27

y/n pov

"do you want to know why I brought you here y/n?" Taehyun asked me, in a soft voice.

"sure!" I said. I turned to face him completely, crossing my legs on the bench and looking at him in the eyes.

he did the same, and now we were both staring at each other, our faces about a foot away from each other.

"do you remember this place? like why it's significant?" Taehyun asked .

I looked around , and made sure my guess was right,

"this is the exact same place we became friends" I said, smiling to myself.

"mhm, and it's also the day where I realized I couldn't push you away any longer" Taehyun said.

I looked up to meet his gaze, my brows furrowing in confusion. "what do you mean tae?" I asked him.

"when I came to you that night after our fight at school, I realized that no matter how much I tried to push you away, my feelings for you would always be there.." Taehyun started.

I was taken aback by his sudden confession, but stayed quiet to let him continue.

"I- I knew you were the one, ever since I saw you trying to become my friend, I knew it. other girls give up after I push them away, but you.. you kept going.

"you never noticed it, but every time you left me alone, I would walk away , a smiling mess because of you. I knew my feelings for you, but I decided to hide them until I really knew who you were" Taehyun confessed.

I looked down, staring at the ground with a giant smile on my face.

"and now we're here, at this exact same spot, because I want to tell you that..." he paused for a moment.

I then felt his soft fingers tilting my face up by my chin to meet his soft, loving gaze.

"I want to tell you that I love you , Choi y/n. you stole my heart away.." he said, leaning in closer.

my heart was pounding against my ribcage. taehyun always made my heart race without knowing it himself,

I moved my gaze down to his lips, they looked perfect in the moment.

I looked back up to taehyun's eyes and slowly smiled. "I thought you'd never say that" I said , while my smile grew bigger.

"I freaking love you too Kang taehyun" I whispered, as the gap between us slowly started to close.

he smiled, "we Mrs. soon-to-be-kang, would you like to be my girlfriend?" he asked me, our noses brushing against each other's.

"I would love to my love" I replied, before placing my lips delicately on his. his lips curved up in the kiss.

both of us finally releasing the emotions we had his from each other before. both of us finally relieved that we could finally be happy together.

our emotions of love and passion burning through the kiss. it's as if we had been away from each other for decades.

we pulled away, gasping for air. "sorry, I got a bit uh..carried away.." Taehyun said, still trying to regain his normal breathing pattern.

I giggled, then looked at his lips. they were slightly swollen. I gently rubbed my thumb against his lips, feeling how soft and plush they were.

"y/n, don't do that.." Taehyun said, softly grabbing my wrist, leading it away from him.

"s-sorry" I said, looking down at the bench. he chuckled. "love it's ok, it's just.. you really drive me insane. it took all of me to not kiss you again just now" Taehyun explained.

"hey, what if I want more kisses?" I asked , slightly pouting. he smirked . "well I guess we can go to my apartment, my mom and brother are at the mansion...sooo that means the place is empty" Taehyun explained, wiggling his eyebrows.

"yah don't go getting any ideas, I just said kissing, not whatever you're thinking" I jokingly said.

"who said I was taking about something other than kisses? get you head out of the gutter love" he joked.

I rolled my eyes and pulled taehyun up. "cmon, it's late and I want kisses and cuddles" I said, grabbing taehyun by the hand and leading him back to our apartments.

we walked hand in hand, happy to finally be together.

our walk had some small talk here and there, but mostly just us walking in comfortable silence, enjoying each other's warmth and presence.

we walked and walked until we reached our apartment.

"can you stay the night with me? I wanna cuddle and watch movies all night long" Taehyun asked , in a baby voice.

I giggled and nodded my head . "sure, just let me get some stuff from my apartment first ok love?" I asked him.

"can you guys stop flirting infront of the door?! I'm trying to enjoy my ramen here!!" we heard yeonjun yell from inside my apartment.

me and taehyun both looked at each other and broke out in a fit of laughter. I walked in to my apartment while taehyun went to his apartment and prepared for our movie night.

"so he finally asked you ?!" Yeonjun said, running over to me with an excited look on his face.

I giggled and nodded. "yes! I knew my plan would work!" Yeonjun said.

"what plan?" I asked , while gathering my things to spend the night at taehyun's apartment.

"oh when tae asked me of ideas to confess to you I was the one to come up with the plan to take you to where y'all first became friends. and then bahi found out about it , so of course she did the whole 'make you look amazing' thing. and taehyun came up with taking you to dinner first" Yeonjun explained.

I mouthed a 'wow' and continued to pack my things. I also changed into something comfier than the outfit I was currently in.

I changed into some grey sweatpants and a white tank top because it was wayyy comfier than the dress I was just in.

when I finished I walked out of my room and went to yeonjun. "hey junnie, I'm gonna spend the night at Tate's house! I'll be back tmrw ok?" I asked him.

"sure, just don't do anything I wouldn't do maam, you're still my little sister" Yeonjun said.

I made a disgusted look at him and dramatically shuddered. "yeah ok, as if I would" I said.

"have funnn" Yeonjun said, as I was walking out the door. I walked out of my apartment and closed the door.

I opened taehyun's apartment door because he had told me in the past that I could just walk in whenever we would hang out.

"taee? where are you?" I called out. "in my room love !!" he responded. I walked to his room and opened the door.

"aw tae did you do all of this for our movie night?.."
