chapter 14

y/n pov

"w-what do you mean?" I asked, getting flustered again .

he stared at me and I broke the eye contact by looking down at my feet.

I heard him sigh. he lifted my chin up with his fingers and before I could register anything I felt something soft and warm on my lips.

it was his lips..

I widened my eyes, I was shocked. taehyun, Kang Taehyun was kissing me!

y/n what are you doing?! push him off!

but it feels right!

this isn't right! you don't like him!

well maybe I do..

without another thought, I kissed him back.

I grabbed the collar to his shirt and pulled myself closer to him. he put one hand on my waist and one hand was cupping my cheek, close to my jawline.

his lips started to move against mine. the sensation that I felt when our lips collided with each other's was indescribable.

it was like if someone finally found the missing piece of the puzzle and that sensation of happiness and excitement takes over.

we both pulled apart and connected our foreheads together. taehyun was smiling like an idiot.

"Why are you smiling like that ?" I asked him with a chuckle.

"because the girl I care about most kissed me back." he bluntly responded. I blushed and lightly hit his shoulder.

I looked at him and smiled. "I'm going to be honest with you. I'm confused. when I'm around you, you make me happy and you make me feel safe. I've never felt things like this before but with you it's like everything bad goes away" I confessed.

he smiled and pecked my lips. "if you're being honest then I will too. I've only ever felt this once, but with you it's 100 times stronger than it was before. I feel free when I'm with you. I don't have to pretend to be someone I'm not, I don't have to watch what I say around you, you're the sun that shines on my rainy days." Taehyun explained.

he bitterly chuckled. "I guess you won't understand that, nobody does" he had a sad smile on his face.

"hey, why do you keep saying that? all the things you tell me make perfect sense. I understand them." I said, grabbing his hand in mine.

he looked at me and gave me the brightest smile I've ever seen from him. he kissed me passionately again.

we pulled away after a couple seconds and he had the same smile on his face. "y/n, you're the only one that understands me. my friends don't understand me, my parents don't understand me. but you..you understand every feeling I've felt. that's what makes me feel like you're the one" he mumbled the last part, but I heard it.

I smiled and interlaced our fingers together. "I told you that I would. you know what happened in the past. I know a lot of feelings other people don't" I said.

we both were a smiling mess.

I looked at the time and it was 10 pm. "yunnie, I've got to go. yeonjun is pro-" I was cut off with his lips.

he pulled back a little, but our lips were brushing against each other's.

"if you're going to leave let me kiss you for a little longer before you go" he whispered against my lips.

I connected our lips again and we kissed for about 5 more minutes before we both pulled away panting.

"let me walk you to the door" he said, grabbing my hand and leading me to the door.

we got the the front door and taehyun pulled me back and engulfed me in a tight hug.

I laughed and hugged him back. "I might come over if I miss you" Taehyun said. I giggled. "I wouldn't mind at all" I replied.

"ok well I better go, yeonjun might go nuts if I'm late" I said. and we bid our goodbyes and I walked into our apartment.

yeonjun was standing there with a smirk.

"yah what's with that smirk again?!" I asked him. "so did you and taehyun finally confess?!" He asked me.

I stayed silent, thinking about what happened today. yeonjun gasped and ran to me, grabbing me by the shoulders.

"tell.me.everything!!" He said , excitement laced into his voice. he dragged me to the couch and sat infront of me, waiting for me to spill .

"what do you mean? nothing happened" I said, but I was horrible at lying.

"I'm offended that you thought I was gonna fall for that lie. now tell me!!" he replied.

"ugh fine. we kissed." I bluntly mumbled. his eyes widened and he jumped up.

"my sister finally had her first kiss!!" He yelled. "yah shut up, what if someone hears you!" I said.

"I knew it. so are y'all dating now?" He asked me. "well, not exactly." I replied. he stopped jumping.

"what do you mean 'not exactly'?" he questioned, squinting his eyes. "I'm confused! I've never felt this feeling before yeonjun. when I'm with him everything bad goes away and he makes me feel safe and warm inside. just looking at him can brighten my day up. his smile, how he's clingy, his cute face when he whines or pouts! I don't know what this is?!" I ranted.

yeonjun had a proud smile on his face. it was a smile of a dad when he sees his son going on and succeeding in life.

"y/n, please listen to me" he said.

"you love him" he stated. I gasped. "is this really what love feels like?" I questioned.

"does your heart race when he's close to you?" he asked. I nodded my head.

"when he's sad, does it make you want to help him feel better?" he asked again, and again, I nodded my head.

"do you love when he opens up to you and when he trusts you with his secrets?" he asked. and for the third time, I nodded my head.

"that's love y/n" yeonjun finished.

oh my god...I love taehyun...
